DraftExpress is my go to site. Here's their video breakdown on Ross.

Based on what DX has to say, I feel much better. Seems to be not just a good athlete, but one of the best in the draft. Also looks like he can create his own shot. Also seems to be a a solid defender.

I'm going to have to look at that site tomorrow. From what that video shows, Ross looks like a good player. And I'll be honest, I didn't see much of him at all this year, so this is encouraging to see.

Defense is a lot easier to find than a go to scorer though. Turner is perfectly capable of doing the passing, rebounding, and scoring Iggy provides. And then if you get Kidd-Gilchrist with the 5th pick, that guy is already a big time defender, and has huge potential in that area, so it balances itself out. To be honest, he actually reminds me a lot of Iguodala and Gerald Wallace. Both of those guys were 20 ppg scorers at one point with no jumper, and I certainly think MKG can do it as well, on top of being a great all around player. If he ever gets that jumper more consistent though, watch out. If not him, I think Drummond balances out our defense as well having a true enforcer in the paint instead of Spencer Hawes.

i'm not sure turner is the passer and floor seeer that iggy is...but i guess when you float the 3 point line primarily on o like i have seen iggy do all postseason you are gonna have a better look at the entire floor...

mkg lasting to #5 will be pretty shocking to me...he's nba prototype long athletic explosive huge upside talent...best basketballs in front of him...drummond i'm not sure what my take is on his nba future...

i've seen a good amount of terrence ross at washington and i like him...not sure i think he's gonna be a guy though that creates his own offense at the next level but he's got nice length to get off his jumper and he can bang the perimeter j and he's got good range...don't know that i like him at #15 though...might be more a catch and shoot guy as a pro although i have seen some off the dribble game there...i'll say catch and shoot or come off the screen perimeter shooter or one or two dribbles before pulling up will be his game at the next level...

sounds like meyers leonards predraft workouts have bumped him up into the lottery...pretty much a given that he would test very well...

i hear boston like the nicholson kid...i saw him play in the ncaa tourney and he's got nba range on his jumper...legit range...pretty solid feet and footwork...a little slow but deceptive and able to get his shot off...crafty kid...good length...

oh and sign me up for taking a chance on tu holloway in the 2nd round as an off the bench scoring punch...i don't care about the height i love that kids moxie and attitude...he can fill it up in a hurry...

Drummond measured in at 7'0", with a 7'6" wingspan. 278 lb with 7.5% body fat is pretty good. Better be talking to SAC... John Henson measured in 6'10 1/2" with a 7'5" wingspan. Highest standing reach at the combine. Weighed in at 216. Needs to hit the weight room hard, but we already knew that. Lamb measured in at 6'5" with a very good 6'11" wingspan. 179 lbs... SMH. Austin Rivers 6'5". His 6'7" wingspan is very average. Sullinger at 6'9" with a 7'1" wingspan. 8'11" standing reach. I had concerns about his reach, looks absolutely fine to me. More than fine actually. Very good. 268 lbs and 10.7% body weight is good for him. Tyler Zeller hurt his stock. Pathetic measurements. 7 and a half feet with a 7 foot wingspan. 8'8" standing reach at over 7'. Awful

MKG measured in at 6' 7 1/2" with a 7'0" wingspan. 233 lbs with 7% body fat. Barnes at 6'8" with a 6'11" wingspan. Tiny hands though. 228 lbs on 9.6% body fat. Perry Jones measured a legit 6'11" with 7'2" wingspan. Good for him. That height, ballhandling, and insane athleticism at the 3. Simply no way I'm passing on that potential for Barnes. Also 233 lbs on a very good 4.6% body fat. Meyers Leonard a legit 7'1" with 7'3" wingspan. 250 lbs on a very good 5.6% body fat. Second biggest hands in the draft as well. Important for a big man as they catch a lot of passes, many in traffic. Looked impressive in drills as well.

Also, Bradley Beal measured in at 6'5". He was listed at 6'3". Very good for him. A good 6'8" wingspan to go with it.

sullinger taller than i expected...i thought he was a max 6 ft 8 guy and closer to 6 ft 7...that 6 ft 9 helps...mkg slightly shorter than i expected...perry jones has all the tools but somethings just amiss there...there's a lot of buyer beware there imo...although if you're gonna run him at the #3 thats probably an ideal scenario for him...don't like his strength in the post against pfs...has a kinda soft game...i wonder about his handle though as a #3

i'm telling you guys don't sleep on john henson...i think he's a future double double guy...put 15 lbs on that frame

i thought lamb was 6 ft 7...has vines for arms

I think Perry Jones' handle is fine. Much better than some of the other 6'11" tweeners to come out recently like Donte Greene and Anthony Randolph. Hopefully he keeps working at it.

interested in hearing peoples takes on fab melo...saw something that listed him at 6 ft 9 i thought he was taller than that...i know the kids not gonna ever be an offensive force but he looks like an impact defensive player to me...i keep seeing him listed in the #20's somewhere and maybe its just me but i think thats damn good value...

this draft imos depth and quality of depth blows away any we've seen in a good while...june 28th should be fun...

Fab Melo is a legit 7 footer.....for the NBA we append about 1.5" to everyone's height to make them feel better. Or for Drummond 2"......his agent must have bought him specially made platform sneakers so he could tell people he was 7 feet tall.

There have been so many guys like Melo that have turned out to be nothing in the NBA so I think the skepticism is justified, but being 7 feet tall and able to move around should get him drafted in the lottery.

that's what i thought...7 feet...guess i just got some bad info or something...i haven't been hearing lotto though with him...guess we'll see

you like doron lamb as quick offense and perimeter scoring i take it??? i think he should have stayed in school another year although if he gets drafted in the 20's that's probably about as high as i think he could justify at any time...i'm not sure what to think of him...
