Dashon Goldson, who is reportedly set to be released by the Bucs, was the 2nd worst safety in NFL last season, per PFF.

Delmas knows the system, and shouldn't be expensive, but the downside with him is he may not be back to start the year.

He was a beast with San Fran.

Probably blame the scheme. Then again he's a headhunter type and those days in the NFL are over.

Bucs taking a page from the Fins and chopping FA aquired few years back on monster contracts that didn't live up to the hype.

bucs fans describe him as "big hits, big misses"

Not phased. Clay is a good player, but he is a hybrid tweener. Lazor and the scouts will find another contributor for his snaps.

It's pretty telling that Miami fans are universally nonplussed at Clay getting such a contract with a large magnitude of cash. This is a fan base that can barely agree on anything, yet they are united on the fact that Clay isn't worth the bucks.

Looks like Suh deal is very cap friendly for Miami for this year which may give them a better chance of matching an offer sheet for Clay

I still do not think this is over.

I am still not giving up the idea that Doug Whaley will screw the pooch on this Clay thing.

Yea, the way Suh's contract is structured, the Bills would have to give him just an outrageous deal for us not to match.

I think we are simply pushing the Bills to waste as much money as possible at this point. No way Clay is worth $9 million plus.
