Polk's a guy I really liked in college . . . buried behind Shady/Sproles and now Demarco/Matthews/Sproles.

But yea, everybody can be patient on him 5 days prior to the draft starting. Nothing beats a 4 year day 3 rookie wage contract, especially for a running back.

His agent is pretty ballsy not signing that 1.5 million dollar tender Philly had on him. I get that he probably wouldn't of played and would of been a forgotten man, but he may never make that kind of money.

NFL Films' Greg Cosell believes UCF WR Breshad Perriman is in the top tier of wide receivers in this year's draft.
Cosell believes Perriman is in the same tier as Alabama WR Amari Cooper and West Virginia WR Kevin White, and even "see ranking Perriman even with or ahead of White." Perriman has been shooting up draft boards since running in the low 4.2s at his Pro Day. Perriman is could be selected in the first half of Day 1.

"Several personnel directors" told the New York Daily News they believe the Jets have an "affinity" for Stanford OT Andrus Peat.
D'Brickashaw Ferguson remains a solid starter at age 31, but has a cap charge of over $14 million in 2016. The Jets could view Peat as a short-term solution to their right tackle woes, and as Ferguson's long-term replacement on the blind side. Per the NY Daily News, the "feeling in league circles" is the Jets are willing to trade down -- out of the No. 6 pick -- and could target Peat in the early teens.

"Several executives" told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel they've either removed Boise State RB Jay Ajayi from their draft boards or "backed way off" because of how their medical staffs evaluated Ajayi's knee.
Ajayi tore his ACL in 2011, and it's feared he may need microfracture surgery down the line. "I just don't know if he'll hold up physically," one scout said. "He's had a lot of carries." Since tearing the ACL, of course, Ajayi dominated college football and showed big-time NFL-caliber tools. The concern continues to be with Ajayi's longevity, at a position where longevity isn't the expectation.

ESPN Giants reporter Dan Graziano believes the Giants will "most likely" draft an offensive lineman with the No. 9 overall pick.
Iowa G/T Brandon Scherff would be the best option for the Giants. Scherff is a versatile lineman who could start immediately either at left guard or right tackle, allowing current RT Justin Pugh to kick inside to his more natural guard position. Graziano also mentioned Miami T Ereck Flowers as a possibility.

The Dolphins sure want everyone to know they really like Todd Gurley. Hmm ...

I am expecting Hickey to be very off the wall with his picks again. I don't think anyone knew what we were doing last year and I personally see more of the same. I just consider everything they are saying and doing as lies right now.

If I was guessing, I would think they are trying to trade back a few spots Where it makes sense to draft kendrick, pick up a 2nd or 3rd and get David johnson out of northern Iowa with the extra pick.

What I do not get is why would Hyde say the Fins would want to generate interest in a RB to make another team trade WITH them? If you are Dallas, you don't trade with the team that wants the player. You jump ahead of them.

James was not off the wall at all. Steady and smart pick.

I am guessing they are expecting Gordon to fall and are trying to pump up his value

At the draft everyone said James was off the board and a reach, absolutely everyone.

This team needs a LG and MLB more than RB and WR. Do you they snag a Screff, Collins or Kendricks and fill a need?

I have just rejected the idea of a linemen because it was not "sexy enough" and the idea they have used so many resources up front. However, at the end of the day, the QB does get hit too much.

Exactly why I have no problem if we take an offensive linemen. Our QB is our best football player. I'd love to get him more weapons, but I'd love for him not to get killed even more. If we go OL though we need to get the right guy, and one that will contribute right away.

I could care less about sexy picks.. I just want a solid team with a QB that can stay up right more than half of the game. If Scherff is there pull the trigger.

I have Scherff, Waynes and Perriman all ahead of Parker and Gurley (Which I agree are both very overrated prospects.)
