So we have until 4:00 pm to make cuts?

I think the league year STARTS at 4PM.

So players cannot sign until that time. We can make cuts any time. Although for cap purposes I think if you wait until after 4PM its considered the NEW NFL year and that does something with the dead money, etc.

I'm sure someone else knows better.
 
So lets say TBUMM goes TBUMM & signs The Honey Badger to a relatively high contract (cause that's what he does). This effectively takes D. JAMES off the board at #11. Since its not my money, I'm OK with this.

IMO, that leaves LB (SMITH?) or DT (VEA). NELSON & EDMONDS will probably be gone by 11.

As much as I like VEA, IMO, this looks like a trade down scenario.

Agree 100%. But Miami would need to restructure another contract, to do it. I do agree with a strong trade down possility.

Joe Thomas gone? Wow....

Wonder if Cleveland now switches that #4 in looking for a OT, or whatever 1st rounded they end up with if they trade down.
