So- we are in year 2 of McDaniel being head coach. 1st yr makes the playoffs, and loses in the 1st round. Year 1 of Don Shula (1970). Makes the playoffs, and loses in the first round. So, here we are in year 2. Shula's Dolphins make the Super Bowl in year 2. Here is what happened when NE visited Miami in 1971. Hope for a similar result today.
