Here's a sample mock that I just finished. I only set it for 4 rounds and then set out to hit the areas where I think the 'Phins are weak. I did one minor trade and ended up with two X-type WRs, a Mike LB, a quality Center, and a Big Back to pair with the one cut guys that we already have under contract. I would have liked to bring in another Corner, but couldn't resist Ross and Robinson.

Solid choices, can't fault it.

I made 2 drafts a couple days ago on the draft network, depending on if we get a tackle in FA or don't. No trades (those tend to favor you versus the AI GMs). We seem to have a similar thought process - I went 5 rounds though, because in both cases there were a lot of options left at 125, and I was sure I could get one of them at 158.

29. C. Olave, WR - (dropped to 29 on both occasions)
50. A. Lucas, OT - (I like him the most out of the second tier guys)
102. T. Andersen, MLB - (big, fast, strong)
121. A. Lindstrom, C - (BC connection)
125. N. Cross, S (we may need to replace Rowe, and I like Cross in sub-packages, and his ceiling seems high too)
158. H. Haskins, RB (the thunder to our lightning)

OR

29. C. Olave, WR
50. L. Chenal, MLB - (even bigger, stronger, almost as fast)
102. A. Lindstrom, C
121. Z. White, RB - (injury concern, but he's an RB1 type if healthy)
125. N. Cross, S
158. C. Bryant, CB (potential Byron Jones replacement eventually)

Yup... very similar to what I did, and quite plausible.

I've always felt that smart teams go draft first, and then backfill with free agents, and I still hope/believe that some of our young linemen will improve, so... we need a short term, but immediate fix at Tackle. ...and most of the reports say we are trying to do just that.

Wel that was their first mistake thinking Wentz was an upgrade to anything. Smartly rectifying that already. Now who is their QB. Or are they going to waste another year of Taylor and a playoff roster.
That's exactly what they would be doing with Baker as their QB. If I were them, I would rather take a flyer on a QB in the draft or, gamble on someone like Tyler Huntley. Maybe they can pry him away from Baltimore. Both options are basically lottery ticket type options but at least there is unknown upside to both. With Baker, I'm fairly sure everyone knows his ceiling, and it isn't very high.

I think Mayfield is in a similar tier as Garoppalo (mid/low end-tier starter or high end backup), and the 49ers have been fairly close to going all the way multiple times with JG. BM may not be the franchise QB anyone would want, but on a strong enough team, I wouldn't put it past him to win a ring. Especially if he winds up in the NFC.

Wouldn't want him in Miami though...

Strongly prefer option 2
