*Official NFL Free Agency thread*

Not weird at all. I care about the player’s stance on the issue, which in the grand scheme of things, is way more important than football.
And the thread of Free Agency signings is the avenue to discuss these standings?

My biggest fear of free agency 😡
I am of the same opinion.

Yes, it’s conceivable the guys could get better. But we are heading into year 3 of Tua and the horrible lines have not let us evaluate him.

If Tua doesn’t have time to throw, all the other moves we made are worthless. We can’t run routes if Tua is getting bum rushed off the snap and has to get it out in a half second. Tua can’t go downfield.

If front office is wrong and these guys just suck, it’s another year wasted. And it might be it for Tua after year 3.

Grier is not locked in a room by himself making these decisions.

There is already improvement with Conner Williams signed to start at LG. Replacing the Jumbo Tron himself at LG is an improvement by subtraction, in itself. Lets see what shakes out in the draft and the rest of F/A. Unfortunately we all have to wait and see.

I said front office, not Grier specifically. But Grier as GM will get blame for player evaluations regardless.

If we want to go in with the same guys and pray the become decent, the front office is taking a big risk.

Wow….Only Grier would say something that stupid. Our OL was HISTORICALLY bad last year. The 3 “young guys” we had on the OL were pretty bad. Hunt was the best of them but by no means had a good year. Meanwhile Jackson and Eichenberg were pretty much playing at a division 2 level. Meanwhile Jessie Davis was missing about 17 blocks a game. If Grier thinks that this OL can get by just having our “young guys” playing better, he’s way worse of a GM than I thought he was

I'm talking about coaches who have evaluated the players.

I think the coaching staff could improve the young guys just by not being clowns like the last staff, but the young guys still need GOOD veterans to learn from. How is anyone supposed to be better when the veteran guys are hot garbage? How does anyone listen to Jesse Davis?
