Shut it down. I want no starters tomorrow.
I 100% agree with you. I think we as fans are excited about seeing what the offense can do, but many of us want them to play for selfish reasons. I would love to see them play in a live gave as well but would much rather see them go into the season healthy first and foremost.

Mac Jones vs. Raiders Scrub Defense:

9/13, 71 yds, 5.5 ypa, 0 TD, 1 INT, 50.5 passer rating...

That's your #85 player in the entire league, tearing it up!!

Better yet, his composite pre-season stats:

13/21, 6.3 YPA, 1 INT, 3 sacks, 5 hits

Take care of the Beagles...rest the starters...keep everybody healthy, and get ready for the ass-stompin' we're gonna put on the Chowda Heads week 1!
Imo, miami's run defense better not **** the bed vs pats. Because that's the one thing that will be tough and would suck as it could let mac jones and the average wrs off the hook. Miami can't look like bills run d did vs pats in that very windy game that pats beat bills despite mac throwing one pass. And o line not imploding. If miami's o line can just look like an actual nfl o line in this game and not some highschool varsity line like it did last year most of the time. And run d holds up some, it doesn't have to shut the run game down, but not get gashed left and right.

If that happens, I think miamis defense should hold mac jones in check and I think Tua will get the points to win. I don't know how many or how the offense will look, even if tua plays well, even with that much talent. There may be a bumpy ride especially for first game, because it's new players, new system, new coach. Who knows how the blocking will go. Even if the blocking gets better in the game, it might take time, maybe 2nd half before miam's o line settles. But I still think this is set up for a miami win if run d does decent and o line does decent. I feel miami's pass d would then hold down mac jones and take care of pats average wrs with miami's talented secondary. I think and hope howard or holland might get a pick or two on mac jones too

The Pats truly looked miserable. Jones and DVP seemed to have zero chemistry, and Jones often looked scared by the pass rush. Looking forward to week 1, but just hope the Fins don't look past that game.
Dolphins better pin their ears back and get after them from the jump. There’s blood in the water. You know Beliceck would do the same to us.

Either way, we need to concentrate on our team getting better and tonight there are going to be battles for the last several spots on the roster. I believe we have 8 OL guys locked in but who'll be number 9 if we actually carry 9?..........who's WR #6?

Who's RB #3?......do we carry 4, and if we do, who's #4?

Do we carry 3 TE's or 4?

and the big one, do we carry 3 QB's?

also, a few last spots on the DL, LB and DB as well so while the final score tonight doesn’t matter, who makes it and who doesn't will be in part decided by how they play tonight.
