official - pittsburgh/denver game thread

Next play=a Denver double reverse fullback fleaflicker to the tight end who throws a 65 yard pass downfield to Jake Plummer who catches it at the 2, fumbles it at the one, to Troy Polamalu, who runs it back to the 35 and then tries to pitch it to Joey Porter who falls down, and Rod Smith picks it up and runs it back all the way to the 3 where his leg gives out and he fumbles the ball and it goes out of the back of the end zone.

by the time the play ends it'll be the 4th quarter.

TD Denver, next time look for the Pitt defense to after Jake. Then he will throw an INT

Pretty much. They should stop trying to get all those backs and go after a WR.

Lelie, thus far a bust & drop machine, finally makes a good catch for a TD.

I think the Broncos are going to put 9 on the line to protect Plummer and just send out one receiver and nobody else to catch his passes.

close

And there they go again. Like they don't know what's coming.

It's too bad this isn't a college game. we could be having debates on the marching bands right now.

Something tells me they could have changed the rules for first downs to be the same as on NFL Blitz and the Steelers wouldn't have trouble moving the chains today.

In the AFC Championship, you can't allow them to almost convert a 2nd and 17 on a play where they are most likely going to pass.
