This is exactly right. After watching the Jags game, it is very apparent Ballage lacks vision. Drake would have bounce a lot of those plays outside gaining positive yard while Ballage just ran in the back of his offensive line.

its because no one on the o-line was blocking. They couldnt get out of there own way. First person i have seen stand up for this crud o-line. What IS apparant is that Balage has the same vision every miami rb has, the numbers on the back of the o-lineman's jersey's!!!

"Houston Texans don't want a WR in the Clowney exchange"

Got a link for that "from the texans)?

Not saying your right or wrong, but, ya got a link for that?

Michael Lombardi was the commentator that brought the Clowney for a Receiver opinion. (at least in my searching for Houston desire for Clowney.
Houston needs LT #1 for Clowney. Thats why interested with the Fins, because their top trade choice looked to be Tunsil and supposedly (better be) Flores turned them down.

Another report by John McClain of the Houston Chronicle (link to left. J. McClain Chronical)

Reports suggested that Houston is looking to acquire a wide receiver in a Clowney trade, but John McClain of the Houston Chronicle says that while he does expect Clowney to be dealt, he believes the Texans are going to swap him for an offensive tackle when he signs his franchise tender.
Of course, it’s fair to question whether losing Clowney on the defensive side of the ball will be worse for the team than rolling with their current group of O-lineman, but it seems that Houston is set on trading him. McClain believes the team should also ask for a running back in a trade in order to offset the loss of Lamar Miller, who tore his ACL in Saturday’s preseason game.

Houston could use a
CB
WR
RB
But they really need a LT in which the task is much more difficult and who knows what they will end up with. First choice LT, second choice possibly high draft pick and third WR, RB, CB...deducted from internet sources all over the place...

While I agree the o-line where not opening up very many running lanes, there were several opportunities for the RB to cut it outside and gain positive yards. I've seen Drake do it a lot last year however I have rarely seen Balage doing so. Liard on the other hand did it few times last week when the opportunity arose.

Grier would be a complete fool to trade Tunsil or trade for Clowney. We need to build through the draft!!
Building through the draft is the only way to keep the salary cap under control on a sustained basis.

Now if a team feels they are a player or two away from a superbowl run, signing a high $ FA on a 2 year deal, with an easy out, has its place, but you can't do that just to be "competitive".

If we get a future 1st and a 3rd for Tunsil, might have to listen to that. He’s good, not great. Commits quite a few penalties.

Only issue is that Chris Grier will be making the selections
That's not enough, unless the #1 was likely to be a top 3 pick, but obviously there is no gaurantee of that.

Guys like Tunsil don't grow on trees, you could "miss" on several guys before you find another guy that good.

On the other hand, if you go by Patriot history, the don't hand out a lot of big $ contracts to anyone not named Brady, let alone an O lineman.

Trent Williams?

Trent Williams?

Trent Williams makes the most sense for Houston. Now they realize they ain't gettin Tunsil.

But Washington is playing it tough with Williams:
Speaking Monday, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he "seriously doubts" the Redskins will trade holdout LT Trent Williams. ( IMO that statement is on pretty thin ice)

Our 48 pk got N O center McCoy.... But we scored big time here with the move back to 68 from N.O. and 2020 second rdr and then grabbin Rosen...... What an unbelievable score and hard to find a better draft move in all Dolphin history IMO (take away the Marino pick) time will tell. Rosen was practically free...

This line is weak...It will show from the 1st snap once Fitz starts scrambling for his life.

If they don't get the ball out extremely quick and into the hands of people like Wilson and Grant it will show nothing has changed. Run the ball and throw it short it will go a long way to hiding our o line and slowing down the blitz of well coached teams

Couldn’t agree more... and I have a strong gut feeling that Rosen... given a line... and some time will be an excellent QB.

The arm talent is special.
