OK, So Which QB Do We Draft in 2006?

Guys like Chad Henne, Erik Ainge, Rhett Bomar, and Anthony Morelli are guys who have the ability to make a big name for themselves in a push for teh 2008 draft.

This team NEEDS to BREAK THE BANK NOW and get a REAL QB whatever it costs. Trade and get Rivers.

Let's see, the redskins aren't sure, The 9er's are hoping, Cleveland has a stop gap, The Carnals have a temp, Baltimore don't know and he's played the last 3 years, Buffalo is holding their breath and hoping, Tampa is waiting, almost took rogers, Dallas defintely have a temp..Chicago is wondering, No, I don't think 31 teams have a known QB for the next 5-10 years...even Detroit is tinkering.

I think that Reggie McNeal is going to have a monster year, but either McNeal or Vince Young if Leinhart is out of the question, which I don't think he will be considering the strength of the AFC. Some Qb is going to rise like Alex Smith and I think it will be McNeal, and I think Leinhart will struggle a little bit because of the loss of Chow. Vince Young IMO is the best QB prospect in next year's draft, but he is also the guy who will take the most time.

I have been watching the Dolphins since 10 years before 75% of the posters in here were born, and I say we NEED A QB. I already have ulcers from thinking about what an absolute outrage it is that this franchise won't get a QB.

i'm 44 and have been watching the fins since '72, during that time i have seen 2 hall of fame qbs. funny thing about that is; the least talented of the 2 won super bowls because he had a great defense and a great running game.

Next year's QB class just plain sucks. Leinart is the only one right now that is even worthy of being picked in the first two rounds. Reggie McNeal & Charlie Whitehurst have the ability to emerge but will they? I think if juniors: Tyler Palko & Omar Jacobs continue to excel that they'll be a boost to the class. Vince Young has some work to do & I'm not a big Chris Leak fan.

You want a name? Charlie Whitehurst will be better than any of the QBs people were talking about us getting (McPherson, Orton, Orlovsky, etc.) and should be available for us next year.

And are you serious about Rivers? His release is terrible, and he was a product of the NC State system Norm Chow installed before leaving for USC. We could trade for him, but it wouldn't be for "anyone they want" or any high draft picks.

Rebuilding takes more than a single year man, you have to have patience. This year's QB class sucked, so there was no use wasting a pick on QB when this 4-12 team had plenty of other things that needed to be addressed as well.

Also, if all 31 other teams have their QB for the next 5-10 years set, shouldn't it be pretty easy for us to draft one next year or the year after?

Take some freakin valium, particularly if you're giving yourself ulcers over a football game.
