Pretty good for an Omar article:

Michael!" Lazor yells to get Michael Egnew's attention during last Tuesday's OTA session after the tight end lines up in the wrong spot, potentially ruining a play. "We just went over this!"

Every snap Lazor stands behind the quarterback, usually with his arms folded, fingers pointing, and mouth firing off criticism, instructions, or maybe questions.

He's consistently yelling the word "tempo" because that's what the offense he's installing demands if it is to work.

"Billy first and foremost is very, very intelligent. He's a good teacher," Kelly said. "I think there's a certain demeanor you have to have at the quarterback spot and obviously Billy played in college and has a very good understanding of it. I think he's got a very good background in terms of his experiences.

"We were sad to see him go, but understand it was an upgrade for him, a chance to go be a coordinator and call plays, and I'm excited for him."

Sounds like Lazor is staying after them, man he's getting my hopes up for a better offense.

If by straight he means straight from endzone to endzone I won't be complaining

Between Lazor and hopefully an improved oline the offense should be much better. It will be nice to see a creative offense for once

Sounds like Egnew is a slow learner. But, they're all learning the new offense at the same time, and it's just now being installed, so it's going to take some patience.

I have a lot of confidence in Bill Lazor. I'm really glad he's here.

Well plays and tempo are one thing. Play calling is another.

We were too predictable, and defenses knew exactly when we were passing or running the ball, there was no confusion.

The biggest thing that we need this year though, imo, is for that running game to work. If it does, it will make everything else so much easier, and will also help Tannehill. If we can't run the ball like last year, then overall it's going to be a struggle.

"Michael, we just went over this!!"

Egnew strikes again, lol.

Egnew sucks.....he even looks lik a lost puppy on the field.........3rd round pick or not, he just needs to go. Bring in Finley or Keller.

I hope he can "GET IT." He's got decent talent if the light bulb can come on.

Saw a post on here by CK detailing the potential for breakout by Egnew. It was a great post -- talking about the "what ifs" on Egnew. The biggest IF though its IF he gets it between the ears -- enough to be an NFL player. If that happens, he'll be the best TE on the roster (which isn't saying all that much, admittedly, but still. Clay is just pedestrian forced into duty, imo.).

I like his comment on the QB and him helping Ryan develop. Sometimes it takes a pat on the back, sometimes you have to hold his face to the fire. I think Lazor's gonna be good for Tannehill and our offense.

I have a ton of hope this offense can become tops in this league. Tannehill is going to have a monster year
