Yes. This is the big concern. Is Starks ready to be the anchor of our run D? That's been Solia's job, of late. It's especially troubling if our LB play doesn't dramatically improve.

We're pretty sure the Mizzou grads in our newsroom will be happy about this one: the University of Missouri at Columbia's got the best journalism school in the country.

That's according to NewsPro magazine's ranking in their December issue.

Following close behind Mizzou is another Midwestern college with Northwestern University ranked as runner up. The ranking of the top 10 schools was decided according to a survey of 1,321 members of the Radio Television Digital News Association.

To be fair, it's a degree that screams "I was incapable of completing coursework for a real academic discipline" regardless of where you got it. I don't think Omar's problem is that he went to a certain school. Omar's problem is that he's an idiot.

I'm shocked there are people who still don't understand this. It's his shtick, the Raiders have a beat writer, Tim Kawakami, who plays the same game with their fans. It's unfortunate too, Omar probably gets paid a lot more for his shock value than a guy like Barry Jackson who brings solid reporting to the table.

There's a difference between criticizing a team/player and just being a complete attention-whoring troll. He seems to do the latter very well...at least he gets paid for it. There's certain fans I know who don't get paid around here for doing the exact same thing Omar does.

Im sure there are but criticism of the dolphins gets you labeled regardless. I won three straight Debbie downer awards for criticizing team that didn't post a winning season in those three years, hell even been called a Jets fan because I don't accept that type of performance as good.
