Omar is an obnoxious cretin. The amazing thing is that anyone actually pays him. His lack of intellect is only overshadowed by his delusions of grandeur. People read him because we want info on our team, NOT because he has any insight. He is unable to conceal his contempt for the team and the fans, and has a wildly inflated sense of his own importance.
