They screwed up when they let Dawn Aponte walk, she was the best thing going for working the cap and contracts. Tannebaum made some disastrous deals that we are now seeing how hard they are to get out from under.

Doesn’t hurt when his wife is a supermodel and actually worth more than arguably the greatest QB in history.

    Foles?

And how many times has a team won the SB that has NOT been a top 10 D? Brees, Ben, Rodgers haven't won a SB without a top 10 D.

Before responding, I agree, "I don't think you can win big in this league anymore without a top-10 caliber quarterback." But too many, not saying you're one, have this delusion a top 10/elite/franchise QB - call it what you want - is all that's needed. Yes, get a top 10 QB, but don't expect consistent success without a top D.

We need to have a top 10 QB but you're right, we need a team around him in order to win the whole thing. Not just a defense but you need to get him help on offense starting up front. Right now we'd not win a super bowl if you gave us a top 10 QB with the team we have. We're more than a top 10 QB from making the playoffs and going far.

I should have stopped what? Speculating?

I'm not saying this "should" happen, im saying it "could" happen.

If you have a left handed QB you dont over pay a left tackle.

    What is your point?

Again... the odds are low that we get Tua... so planning ahead that we land a left handed QB would be foolish!

    Possibly.

But Ive hear Ross is really high on him.

That said, we wont know until next year. I dont think we need to pay Tunsil until then either.

If we grab Lock or Haskins this isnt an issue, paying Tunsil is a no-brainer. But if we dont, I think we take a RT early this year.

I disagree... if we don’t get the first pick Tua is unlikely. I don’t want a right tackle at 13.

Your speculation is based on your own fantasy - there is zero merit to it.

Imagine if I continually kept "speculating" about the Fins letting X walk next year and drafting a MLB this year because I have a feeling the NFL is going to become run heavy again. But then pushing it over and over. Just based on my own perceptions. Lol that's you right now.

In today’s NFL, I think both OT spots are equally important. The idea of a great LT was when teams would always line their best pass rusher up on that side of the DL. Nowadays pass rushers come from all directions. Watt and Wake have made a living off of destroying RTs

    Ok.

What exactly am I pushing over and over again? This is the first time I've even mentioned this.

I think you have me confused with someone else brother.

You're entitled to your opinions and I'm entitled to mine.

Drafting a MLB at 13 is a possibility btw, Devin White is special.

I dont disagree. Problem is, how much money do you want to spend on the oline?

The trick is figuring out where you want to spend the money in order to build the team.

QB is a no brainer. The other positions are the question.

They don't have their hearts set on a guy yet. Makes no sense for a GM to think like that, especially when there is another season of college ball to analyze. They probably just know that next years QB class has at least 3 strong prospects and that they want one of them.

Well, we will have a better idea when the draft comes and afterwards, if Tunsil gets extended or not.
