Pretty sure there are only two owners who did anything "football related" before getting where they're at, those being Richardson in Carolina and Al Davis. The rest got where they are through non-football related things.

One main reason he bought this team (and he did not care what team he bought) was to sell his FanVision crap to all the NFL stadiums.
