our top 5 QB'S since Marino?

Not sure how to rank Pennington. RGIII's one good season was much better than Pennington's one good season and people have no problem labeling him the bust of the century, so :idk:
 
nyjunc you are right in that dolphin fans were spoiled by Marino.its sad that after all this time we are.still looking for his replacement. but it appears a lot of teams are still looking for a qb to replace
who do the bills,jets,raiders,jags,bucks,eagles,browns,cards,and a few more teams as well

Gus Frerotte, Moore, Green, and Harrington were all better than Tannehill. Hell, Henne is better than Tannehill.

1 - Pennington
2 - Fiedler
3 - Gus
4 - Moore
5 - Green

I'd put pennington over Fiedler. Although I will always love Fiedler for that Raider game.

Marino was special, top 5 all time special. Guys like that don't come around often. NE will find out soon enough how life is like w/o a top 5 QB. we have been searching forever. the 3 best chances all couldn't stay healthy or had an injury ruin their career- Namath, O'Brien and Pennington. It's hard, I hope someday we have one of those guys b/c it makes winning a lot easier.

lol, this feels like a "who's on 2nd" routine. Correct, which is what I said. I was trying to explain it to Danny, it wasn't that I didn't understand, but he didn't. He didn't understand that we were trying to find the best out of a group of bad dolphins QBs.
 
Gus Frerotte was fun to watch, in fact I think that 2005 team was probably my favorite post-Marino Dolphins team. I also loved Nick Saban as a coach...sigh.

Are you putting Namath on that list for one game, or his entire body of work?? He threw more picks than TDs for his career didn't he, or am I thinking of someone else?

I am saying if he could have stayed healthy he would have been a top 5 QB in the NFL during his career. He came to the Jets injured and it only got worse.

Bottom 5 Dolphins QBs since Marino? Now THAT is a tough question. Lots to choose from there.
