If we can get us some decent wideouts in the draft, I see it playing out like this:
Week 1 vs Texans - Definitely have to chalk that up as a loss. We're due, but I have them in the AFC Championship game. 0-1
Week 2 vs Raiders - They're good but inconsistent and I believe we decimated them. Win. 1-1
Week 3 vs New York Jets - We haven't been swept by them since what, 2007? We'll win one of em. 2-1
Week 4 vs Cardinals - This is a toughie, but I think this will be a loss. Coming off a tough Jets game, west coast. 2-2
Week 5 vs Bengals - I'll chock this up as a loss. Dalton with another year, should improve. Only way we win if is secondary struggles w/o Coyle. 2-3
Week 6 vs Rams - Win. Rams suck. 3-3
Week 8 vs Jets - I say we split with the Jets this year. 3-4
Week 9 vs Colts - Luck will probably be good, but it's still his first year. He's not Peyton yet. Win. 4-4
Week 10 vs Titans - I think they're a bit overrated and came from a weak division. Win. 5-4
Week 11 vs Bills - Bills will be tough. I say we win this though. 6-4
Week 12 vs Seahawks - Win. 7-4
Week 13 vs Patriots - They'll likely sweep us. 7-5
Week 14 vs 49ers - That defense is beast. 7-6
Week 15 vs Jacksonville - Easy win. 8-6
Week 16 vs Bills - I think they'll find a way to win one from us, 8-7
Week 17 vs Pats - unless they rest players for a half, 8-8
So I'll stand by my 8-8 prediction for the moment. To beat those above average teams, Philbin needs to install a fast paced, highly productive offense. I remember constant failure whenever we tried to run the hurry up in the past, and that needs to change. The first 3 games, and the last 3 games will be very important. All-AFC games, with included division matchups. Start strong, finish strong, and maybe that record will improve.
Honestly, if we do any worse than 6-10, I won't be happy.
