PEnnington plays threw an Inflamated Tendon.

Bob Griese, not his son Brian. And yes I would say it's far too early to say that.

Would anyone say he's our third best QB ever behind Marino and Griese....or is that too early to call?

I think that would have to go to Woodley who took this team to a SB.

Pennington needs to take Miami to the Playoffs and then he could be considered, but right now he is doing what no one thought he has made us relevant and that is awesome.

How can you be so sure we would have lost? Do you have a crystal ball? Nobody here truly knows what Henne can do, and until he takes the field in a real game and either wins or loses, nobody knows.

Sundays game wasn't exactly an aerial attack that granted us a win. We barely squeaked by with the great Pennington.

Say what you want, Hate him or like him. One thing is for sure if Henne plays yesterday we lose that game. Pennington has been great for us this year and the little pencil neck geek is Tuff as Nailz.

I agree with you. This explains some of the lack of mobility. Chad is a warrior. It was awesome watching him near the end of the game motivating the other players.

Chad has the Dolphins playoff bound... he should be put in the Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame if he pulls this off. There is no greater competitor in the NFL; I love his fire. We beat the Patriots Sunday; then watch out :mor911:!!!

Lets put it this way, we cant say if Henne was in there yesterday we would have lost, no one can do that. But one thing I will say is I'm glad we didnt have to find out.

It's much to early to say, but if in fact Pennington has actually turned this franchise around for the long haul (much too early to tell) then he is going to have a place in Dolphins history.

Not knocking Penny at all, love that he's here....but how are you so sure we would have lost if Henne was in?

I am 99% sure! Read some of the stories about how Penny is the calm veteran that coaches people up. The best rookie QB of all time will never do that. NEVER!!! This team offense only succeeds because Penny makes others better.

Ya, to say Henne wouldn't have won that game in nonsense. I guess if you shake a magic 8 ball, or call Miss. Cleo. Yeah Chad made a clutch 6 yard throw, SIX YARDS....awesome! To say Henne couldn't complete a 6 yard pass after playing 4 years in front of 100,000 people every game is kind of funny. It's not like we had an airial assault yesterday. We won, that is what matters, but to say Henne couldn't do what Penny did yesterday in a very unsupported opinion.

The dude has orchestrated four drives of nearly 10 minutes in the fourth quarter when it counts! I don't think any other qb in the league has done that. Maybe Collins, Give the dude some props, he kinda reminds me of Jim Harbaugh.

I give him credit for those long drives to win games, and I give him credit for us being in the position to where we needed those drives to win games.

Woodly was not a good qb. As a rookie he showed promise, but was never accurate. we almost won with him at qb but he was just better than what we had behind him. it was no coincidence we drafted Dan marino. I personally think Fielder was better than him but I did not like fielder as a qb either. Pennington is already our third best qb ever. I would then rank scott Mitchell, Earl morral, Gus Frerotte, Damon Huard, jay Fielder, Don strock and then might think about Woodly
