10 minutes of possession time came from the opening drive of the 2nd half. How is that Peyton's fault? It was the defenses fault for not getting off the field on 3rd down.

Broncos did have some 3 and outs after that. But momentum had swung in that game. KC was 11 for 16 on 3rd down, Hardly Peyton's fault.

KC drove the field on every second half possession, had nothing to do with 3 and outs.

Of course, I'm not pointing the finger directly at Manning, its total team effort and have never said otherwise, but his lack of possession certainly had a play in that. As well as his poor decision making on third down to throw under the first down markers. Can you explain otherwise?

IMHO, PFF is heavily vouched for by tons of industry (football) folks, and has relatively few detractors in the same arena. Their product is subscribed to by all levels of NFL people, the media, experts and fans. Their info isn't perfect, but I don't see any other sites touching them.

They also state their product should be used with other analysis for the overall picture as games are impacted.

I'll listen to them for their individual take before I'll listen to crap-spewing, biased Monday morning wannabe analysts.

Another thing to keep in mind about their info...wait 3 or 4 days after the games to get the better, QC'd stuff.

i'm not a pff guy but for my tape study they've called his performance thus far pretty right i dont know about the rankings stuff but i do know the tapes more sound than the pitchfork crowd will give it

Eh, Im not a PFF guy either, but yea..people tend to scoff at sources that provide statistics that conflict with their own personal opinion. Like everything else out there, PFF is just one source of information, not to be taken anymore seriously than anything else out there.

yes because Manning has a proven track record of being accurate and being a Franchise QB.

Even poor QB's can score 2 TD's, and win a game. But we are trying to determine if RT is a leader for our Franchise.

And his accuracy issues, poor pocket presence, and inconsistency say he is not.

Last time i checked you grade the QB's on wins and losses.

Yup, and so far this season, he has beaten the Patriots (last years best in the AFC East, & Fav again for this year), but was not able to win with a team missing entire LB squad, losing most effective RB, and having his best TE and one of his biggest receiving threats (Clay) hobbling hurt. So I guess that means Tannehill should be considered good...thanks green.

I had no problem with RT17's win over New England. Yes he left some points on the field. But it didn't hurt us. It's when he does it and we lose is when I question his ability.

These stats speak volumes! Tannehill is far from the answer. He will be the next jaguars qb.

Speaks volumes of the confidence Philbin has in Tannehill (none). I no longer think Tannehill is the answer, but this was a poor move by Philbin. Shake Tannehills confidence and it can only get worse.

Just face it guys. Tannehill is not the future.... I don't believe it anymore. The proof is in the pudding. He's not accurate and you can't fix that.

Tannehill couldn't lead WR with his passes on multiple occasions and left points all over the field because of this. Good franchise QB's lead WR, Tannehill constantly throws behind them. It's getting old.

It's over for Tannehill. Plain and simple. I don't even know what I want to see going forward, him or Moore.

I posted screen shots from the only views that were available on NFL rewind. I have not seen any angles from along the sideline.

I did the same and can't find a close up on the side (even the endzone cam doesn't give much)...I will concede that Wallace should have been able to get his feet down....it looked like he a. thought he was already out of bounds or b. had more room on the sideline.

The problem is...they loss due to very poor special teams, not being able to cover Watkins, poor LB play and poor o-line play (in the first half)...Tanneill didn't play well, but he didn't hand the other team the game (as many are trying to make it out to be)

i think the legit gripe here is whether or not tannehill can develop between the ears and in the pocket presence wise at the level of an elite qb...i was betting on those things developing with time and reps given he was so green a qb in college even coming out as a pro and after seeing how advanced his decision making was early as a rookie...

if tannehill doesnt get to that level i think it will be because i have miscalculated his development in those two regards...it may go that route or the curve that i expected and still do will start to take effect...not many qbs come out of college masters of the pocket or with it all between the ears...qbs like brady and brees for instance both had to develop and were more game manager types than legit playmakers early[/B]...tannehill has all the physical skill sets you could ever ask for and he's smart as they come...

that's what it will come down to imo...i will either nail it or be off as a result...but i'm not scared...and i won't try and make it something it's not...

as for foles i would take tannehill any day over him...he does have pretty good vertical accuracy though...something that tannehill needs to improve at

In Brady's first year starting he made the probowl, won the superbowl, and was superbowl MVP. How is that in any way just being a game manager? Brees was pretty good pretty quick as well.
