PFT: Report: Authorities are looking at Mike Pouncey as more than a witness

Mass wants to nail Hernandez. They don't want Pouncey. They want him to roll on Hernandez. He is fine.

In Washington its over 90%. In Kentucky it is between 98-99%. nNot sure what it is in Mass but federally overall it is 93%.

In the worst case scenario that Pouncey is involved and gets charged with a federal crime, the Dolphins should do what the Patriots did and just release him and wash their hands. Well a couple hours ago you said he was only a witness. Now it is if that's what Pouncey shows up thinking he is in for a world of hurt. My thought is authorities want him to cooperate and have evidence against him that could ruin him. Generally Nublar the state always acts quicker the Federal mainly being that the Feds get a lot more lead way and aren't bound by time constraints the state is. But if you think for one minute the state uncovers Pouncey commutes a Federal crime and the Feds won't act your nuts!

I hated the Pouncey pick and at the very least he is guilty of very bad decisions! Kid had it all but thug life and image was to important. We cut Johnson over a misdemeanor arrest a Grand Jury subpoena is a big deal no matter how you spin it!
 
Two things... they would have arrested him yesterday if they thought they had something. The feds would have given the court order if it was INTERSTATE gun dealing.

They want to squawk on Hernandez.

Exactly and why would the state subpoena a witness? Only happens if one doesn't play nice!
 
Curious does anyone know if this will also extend to his brother(Pittsburgh)? I assume he and his brother and Hernandez formed an entourage of sorts. What one did they all did?
 
Eh .... at worst he makes an immunity deal and drops a dime on Hernandez.
 
Ultimately this is what I think. They want him to talk, of which he wont, and then they will start investigating anything they can find on Pouncey. If he is clean he'll be Ok, but if he is not they will definitely find something and indict him on it (given they dont already have something and have subpeona'd him to give him a chance to stike a deal).

Well Mike you showed your loyalty w the free hernandez hat, but now it's time to sing like a canary.
 
I am opposite of people here...I think it show desperation of the government. Hernandez will walk because they no he did it, but have NO evidence. No gun, a scoundrel for a witness that has changed his testimony and a grainy picture that shows him with something in his hand. The local prosector is in trouble IMO.

Dude, this is not true. They subpoena ANY witness that they deem as helpful to their case. They cast a wide net on this. In this case, most likely to make the gun violations ironclad. Pouncey has first hand evidence of that, imo.

I've been given State subpoena before -- and the most innocent of all persons, not even a first hand witness to the crime, lol.
