Players seem shellshocked in interviews

But he really doesn't several of his down field passes this year are causing the WR/TE to have to adjust. Last year not so much.

Adjustments are part of those throws. As an example, look at the deep ball Thad Lewis completed. That was not a 'great' throw. It was not in stride. The receiver had to make a huge adjustment and it was still only completed because Nolan Carroll played the ball like a full blown retard.

So now Thad Lewis is our barometer? Lol

They ought to donate their paychecks for that performance.

Shades of Jim Mora. "That was a DISGRACEFUL performance" "I don't care who ya play, whether it's a high school team, a college team..."

I'm just pointing out that -- especially in bad conditions like yesterday's game -- a throw that travels 30-40+ yards in the air is very rarely going to be perfectly placed within six inches to be caught in stride. Making an adjustment to the football is part of completing the play. In fact, go back and watch Mike Wallace highlights from Pittsburgh... he usually has to adjust to the ball on those go routes.

I just don't feel that that particular route is one of Wallace's strengths and I think it is silly that we don't use him more on posts and deep crossing patterns instead. Because those ARE patterns where he has displayed a better feel for finding and adjusting to the football, IMO.
