No i just know more about football than you. once you understand that you can go on with your life.
OK I have read this entire thread, and I feel the need to call you on this BS!!!
You have made some really bad comments and continue to tout your superiority, so I will break down your post with stats. That way there is NO ARGUMENTS!
You said that :roflmao: Hines Wards barely had an edge ove Amani Toomer. Well lets look at stats since thats what you like to do.
Amani Toomer
2003- 63 catches 1057 yards and 5 TD's
2004- 51 catches 747 yards and
0 TD's
Average 57 catches 900 yards(approx) and 2.5 TD's
Hines Ward
2003-95 catches 1163 yards 10 TD's
2004-80 catches 1004 yards 4 TD's
Average- 87 catches 1080 yards(approx) 7 TD's
This doesnt even take into account that Ward is the best run blocking WR in the league! Or the fact that as you put it the Steelers ran the ball quite a bit more than the Giants!
So I believe you said that Toomer found himself......maybe he should continue the quest!
Finally the Giants had a better YPC than the Steelers, but by using those two big powerfull RB's more the Steelers wore defenses down. This is the sign of a great running game, hw many teams did Tiki wear down.......... Yeah not that many! So while YPC is an important stat, when determining the value of a running game you should look at what it is designed to do. The Giants needed a better YPC because Eli played like CRAP! The Steelers used the running game to control the game, wear down defenses, and take pressure off of Big Ben! The Steelers knew they werent going to break off many 50 yarders and, thats not why they run.
