Please listen to M.Irvin show with J.Dukes

May they didn't want mallet because they just didn't want him, they didn't want a rookie experimenting with the offence, didn't you here what Ross said " Tony has to Win" now how is he sussposed to win with a rookie Qb who's learning? and may they wanted just Orton, you guys want anything under center maybe my grandma could take a few snaps.

I totally agree that we don't want Vince Young!

However, passing on Ryan Mallet not once but twice is inexcusable!!!

Even the Patriots of all teams took a gamble on him. At a time when this team so desperately needs a QB and with Mallet having the best raw skills of any QB in the draft, I just hated it when we passed on him.

Sometimes teams have to take a chance....they should have definitely taken a chance and drafted MALLET!

Can laugh at Irvin and stuff but he and Jamie Dukes were 100% right on the Fins QB situation.

They aren't always right one everything, ON THIS ISSUE, they are correct though

i gotta laugh.........................

if dukes and irvin would have said that the dolfin fans were way over reacting, knew nothing about real football that vince and mallett were losers with no talent and henne needs time and sparano knows more than the fans, YOU ALL would be using that and saying, " see, even dukes and irvin and eisen are agreeing with us, and they know whats going on"....................

PLUS, we all know what horrible moves on talent the eagles and pats are notorious for. ireland and sparano, they dont fall for that crap and the team is loaded top to bottom with real TALENT!!!!!

SWIMMING IN EGYPTIAN RIVERS FELLAS, BIG TIME!!!!!

Ivins show is on right now on wqam live... umm seems sober and competent to me..

lol Jamie Dukes reminds me of Terry Tate Office Linebacker

also I'll say this. I don't always agree with Irvin and Dukes, but since Irvin left ESPN he has become a very good analyst instead of a Cowboys and Hurricanes fanboy. They do make great points about the QB situation. HOWEVER, I feel their constant pushing for VY does have something to do with race. This comes from me watching NFLN. When all you can say is Vince Young wins games but then completely ignore his personal issues, and the fact that he has been benched several times for poor play raises questions from me.

People saying Philly is a good place for VY and using Vick has an example is flawed to me.

not really man, wins should be the most important barometer. The kid has talent but the win percentage is a big deal. Also the fact he is younger, and where he was drafted... The personality problems brought his stock down and turns alot of people off but surely they have nothing to do with football.

wins are great yes, but not everything. Jay Fiedler had a great winning percentage too

And i agree with you again... there were a few options at qb i think the reason the attention also for vy was he could have been had for peanuts. as well as plax.

eh... Plax wasn't really a concern to me. Not because of character but he's 33 and hasn't played in 2 years. Not only that, but he's not really the type of WR we need.

not to start an argument, but everybody's Messiah has looked awful at Pats camp.

so i've heard...
