La Conforna was on Joe rose this morning. He said that Bill Polian is ready to draft Today and could be brought in to clean up the toxic atmosphere that Ireland has surrounding himself.

Listen I know Ireland says he has a plan, but every channel that has anything remotely on the dolphins is NEGATIVE.

Last night you had a player talking about Ireland and his dez bryant question and he had the best answer to the "well if you are sinking millions into him dont you need to know everything"...He basically said, You (ireland) have guys that have already investigated every aspect of this kid's life. You already know what his parents situation was. There was NO REASON WHATSOEVER to ask him that question. Now he got dez's name wrong but he knew the story and he said that was all he knew about ireland and he says everyone in the NFL knows that story and most dont think to highly of it.

Ireland is Toxic, and as long as we have him the Dolphins are a toxic organization. I believe in building through the draft, I have wanted to do it since the stache left, but everyone kept treating this like it was a quick fix (front office, any educated fans knew it was not). We have ZERO foundation on offense right now and so this is going to be a LONG PAINFUL (To the fans) process. Ireland will make it even more painful as he operates in his bill parcels junior state of mind, further turning the fans, and players.

We need him gone and bill polian could step in today and be READY TO GO. He could use our staff, and gradually bring in his own.

Once again this is the area that Ross could use all that money for, having polian hire the best scouts in the NFL.

We need this to happen.

Why do you think Polian was on the outs in Indy? Have you seen how terrible his past drafts were, particularly in the 1st round?? Donald Brown anyone? Hughes? he's old and out of touch

Bill Polian is not the answer.
Jeff Ireland probably isn't either, but that is not going to change this season.

Polian is doing commentary on either ESPN or NFLN (can't remember which) and is probably locked into some type of contract with that. Besides, what GM would want to come in after missing the start of FA and have to assemble a staff and get up to speed with the organization with the draft a month away? I don't see it happening.

Bill Polian had groomed his son to takeover in Indy so unless you want Chris doubt you get a Polian.

Agree we should get rid of Ireland as soon as possible. Thought this last year after giving 2 season to evaluate..

But I don't think Polian is right, it is true his Draft have been questionable.

But judging Irelands draft and generally feeling the old standard of not firing a GM at this stage feel that there are several potential people who could do the job, IMO better than our GM who obviously can't even explain his "plan" if he has one ...

You would think at this point he'd be able to give somebody even a partial glue to some kind of strategy or plan...

He has grown into a cancer to our organization getting worse by the minute, he must be expelled as soon as yesterday and start again with a new GM and his draft....lets not wait another year or two....damn

Yeah let's change GMs just one month before the draft. That certainly will go over well in league circles and in the media.

Accept it, Ireland is Miami's GM at least through the upcoming season.

Ireland is here for the season, if we stink again the owner will cut him lose as a sacrifice to the fans. His draft picks of the previous few years better start rising to the top or he is out.

Like we should care what the league circles and Media think, I mean come on.

I accept it because this organization doesn't have the instincts to make a bold move....
Damn even if it failed we wouldn't be any worse ..........

We are already in a deep whole for christ sake don't give us a shovel.........

But your right we will follow the downward spiral do nothing and still be ripped by league and Media and justly so..........

That's the state of the Dolphin Fan these days, having to accept things. It sure would be nice to be excited about something once in a while. It's like a pay decrease at work. Accept it or leave. Accept Ireland's decisions or leave fandom.
We really need to win the first game of the season. Guns will be firmly in place of fan's mouths during that game.
