Polian is ready to Draft RIGHT NOW...

My boss is from Indianapolis. He said polian thinks his **** doesn't stink and rubs a lot of people the wrong way. I think we have that already in Ireland. I don't care how good irelands plan is, everybody thinks he is a douche bag and that is all that matters.

Let's not forget that the Fins were tied or had the lead in the fourth quarter of at least half of our losses. If we close those games out, we are a 10+ game winner and looking pretty good. My point with this is that we do have some talent but I feel that it has been wasted by Sparano...several of those losses could be directly put on his shoulders. This year is make-or-break for Ireland. If we improve with an improved coaching staff then it shows he was on the right track all along but if we fail then he gets the axe. If we win this year and show the foundations of a team on the rise, it will be amazing how quickly the negative press and stigma of playing for Miami will disappear.

polian hung on peyton mannings coattails forever...he's nothing special thats for sure...ireland will be here now through at least the end of the 2012 season...they won't get rid of him after the draft...he'll get 2012 at least

whether we like it or not...

For anyone in the media suggsting Polian is the answer ,only shows how little work today's media does. They obviously have not looked at his drafts or the situation currently in Indy. And to all the MENSA members that one Ireland out, bringing in a new GM usually means a complete overhaul, so we would be looking at firing Philbin and the coaching staff that the majority of Fins fans seemed excited about a few weeks ago.

lol.... wow

Bill Polian?? guys?? really??

I guarantee that 90% of the same fans that were chanting kyle orton, are 90% of the same fans that were at the "protest", are 90% of the same fans that want Bill Polian right now...

WHAT A JOKE YOU GUYS HAVE BECOME, HONESTLY

Bill Polian was great in the eighties and nineties, not anymore. His teams are 1-5 in Super Bowls. That indicates to me gross deficiencies in how he goes about building a team. He had 2 Hall of Fame quarterbacks--Jim Kelly and Peyton Manning--and 1 championship. He had a Hall of Fame QB, RB and all-time great DE and got pummeled in the SB by a Redskin team no one could name a single guy off of. Ridiculous. His teams were beat in the Super Bowl by bums like Mark Rypien and Jeff Hostetler. He couldn't build a dominant defense his entire time in Indy. He hired Caldwell as head coach, a guy everyone knew was in over his head. No thanks.

I've been hearing a lot of over joyed radio ppl talking nonsense like this.

The dude was exposed in a serious way last year. I'm not sure any NFL franchise is really interested in him, any more. He's old and he wants to drag his son where ever he goes. No thx, plus the Miami fan base would turn on him in months any way. We've been through how many GM's, and the fan base still complains over and over.

yet he did something the fins havent done since 84, got to the superbowl...with 2 teams no less

the intelligence is astounding!

Pretty much every local radio host has been pushing Polian as our GM. IMO this is the real issue. Local Miami Dolphin fans listen to these radio shows and don't even understand the majority of the hosts aren't even Dolphin fans. They don't want our team to do well for TWO reasons. They don't like the Dolphins, and they know if it bleeds it leads. They are in it for the $.

:hclap: also if it didn't take half the season for some or most of the defense to get into game shape, things might not be so bad, Imo

No way would I want Polian. Knock Ireland all you want, but at least he can manage to get good players with our first rounders, which is something we couldn't claim prior to his arrival, and something Polian couldn't claim for many of his years as well. I'd rather have 1 great player from each draft than 0 worthwhile players at all.
