***POST GAME DISCUSSION - PHINS/JAGS***

Grier/Flores really might go all in on Watson to save their jobs now.
Tua's job is officially in danger...

Ross should overrule this decision if it's made...and I'm a Watson guy.

So far (prior to today's game) this team is statistically worse than the 2019 team that was considered one of the least talented in history.

2019 Offense - 310 y/g
2021 Offense - 262 y/g

2019 Defense - 398 y/g
2021 Defense - 422 y/g

2019 Offense - 19.1 p/g
2021 Offense - 15.8 p/g

2019 Defense - 30.9 p/g
2021 Defense - 30.8 p/g

We suck. F***ing terrible coaching all around today

Tua played a decent game. I was getting some water right when that int happened, so outside of that.. it was okay.

When you lose to the worst team in the league, do you become the worst team?

Have at it guys. Be respectful to each other. I have to get off of here for a bit. Take it easy on the mods today/tmrw
He had 2 bad plays, one was the interception, the other was the decision to throw the ball instead of run for the first down on that 3rd down and 2. However, he made like 25 really good plays, so he played well and I like what I see from him. That PI call on Hollins was terrible!!! And the non call on the defender vs Geiseicki When he was clearly illegally contacted well beyond 5 yards was a horrible call.

However, the defense was awful, and the coaching was probably worst.

That would take the cake. The problem is Flores.
Mortgaging the future before getting fired. Ross would need to step in before this idiocy could happen.
Watson isnt a savior

I just can't believe how far the Defense has regressed.

Having the game on the BBC was good. Theres no adverts, so that time was taken looking at replays rather than the same few ads over and over which can change the perspective of big moments.

Said this in the game thread, but I think this was the death knell for Grier and Flores. I think both will last out the season, but they're dead men walking now. There's not enough talent on the roster or aptitude in the organization to do enough over the next 2 1/2 months to recover to a degree that justifies keeping either.

Along with that, you're going to see a drastically different roster this season. There's no one on the O-Line that deserves to be back and the guy coaching them ... don't get me started.

Starts like this, especially considering the expectations, are things that usually wind up being complete housecleanings.

#1 that was a catch by Gaskin...they confused his knee for the football...#2 the ball 100% touched the returners hand...and I never complain about officiating...Flores looked like he was hungover today

If we end up giving up a #12 overall pick, a top 3 overall pick, and a 4th round pick for Jaylon Waddle, it will be one of the worst trades in NFL history.
nightmare
griere shoulbbe fired now for this mess

Ross should not allow that to happen. If Ross allows these clowns to throw away more resources on a degenerate like Watson then any small sliver of hope for this team would be gone. Ross needs to let this season play out but block Grier from throwing away any more draft picks or players. They must play it out with the team they put together. Clean house at the end of the season and save all draft picks for the next GM/Head coach.
