Posters that think QB isnt our biggest issue

The defense, offensive line and special teams need an upgrade more than the QB for this team to be successful. Over the years of our awfulness, we have never had a great QB, but were a playoff team with a good defense, offensive line and running game while Fiedler was QB and most of this board seems convinced that he wasn't a good QB. Great QB play is necessary in this league, but if you have a great QB without a defense or running game (Marino), you can't win championships.

dead serious.....you dont win in this league without a great QB...U dont get a great QB unless u draft him in first rd...I know there are exceptions (Brady, Brees) 99% of the time, you need to acquire one in the first round...This is black and white..People that are saying QB is not our biggest issue are smokin crack. It has been our biggest issue for the better part of two decades..If you wanna compete for the wildcard, than yes Henne may be ok..You wanna be a legit team, take a QB in the first

though henne looks better this year
i still dont think he is the answer..

Looks like the dolphins need another cornerback
what good is getting a qb when you got a cornerback
that is routinely targeted and gives up 14 points per game..

You got only one player on the defense that can get a consistent pass rush..

You got only 2 legit starters on the online..

If henne shows any gusto and we have the #1 pick
im listening to what other teams would give up
If i could pull a jimmy and get another teams full draft
just to fall a few spots in the suck for luck sweepstakes
i might be encouraged to do it if henne takes the next step at Qb
though if henne looks like a lame duck through the year
then you either do your homework on other quarterbacks
besides luck or you take luck end of story..

Anyone with an IQ over 20, sorry hiphopisdead5, would clearly see that QB is not the problem this year. Henne probably still isnt the answer, but there are a few areas that obviously need more help ATM.

Every knows this is a passing league and you need a QB to succeed. Right now we have an average QB. We have more serious things to consider like extra DB's, D-line presence, and O-line problems. Henne can look to be above average if the team gets W's. Sanchez looks above average because his team gets him W's.

The Jets havent won since getting Sanchez..They are very good at almost every other position....
