Posters that think QB isnt our biggest issue

our defense and O-line play good, we are 2-0 right now

Dan Marino was super good and we didnt win any Super Bowls, so I hate to say it, you are dead wrong!!

They have gone to the AFC championship game 2 years running with Sanchez. That's my point Sanchez is not a great QB but they have a great team around him so no one throws him under the bus. Everyone throws Henne under the bus because he doesn't win, and this year the team hasn't helped him win. Whether it's him or not we don't win, so the first place most people look at is QB. Right now Henne has not been the worst he has ever been. He is not the answer and we do need a serious franchise QB, but there are other points on the team that have to be fixed beforehand.

I can't imagine getting Luck or any great QB and not having a serviceable O-line.

is GOING to the AFC championship game, winning? Granted we would kill to be in that spot but for me its super bowl or bust, not 4th place

I'd say even sniffing the playoffs is winning to the Dolphins. If we go by Super Bowl or bust then haven't been relevant since Marino's second season. It is kind of sad that even with one of the greatest QBs ever we haven't gotten to enjoy a Super Bowl.

would be good enough considering where we been at..
Id be thrilled for the dolphins to put a couple victories together in the playoffs
we haven't seen that since when? Marino's 1st year?

No matter what you say, after 2 games that I've seen, Henne has not been the biggest problem. Sure as the season goes on it may develop that way, but right now Im worried about having the worst defense in the NFL and our o-line unable to protect ANY Qb that is behind him. Idc if its Tom Brady or Cleo Lemon. The QB has to be protected and our oline is on pace to giving up over 200 total hits on a QB. Absolutely outrageous. Just look at every team that has a great QB, New Orleans, Green Bay, New England.. Whats so great about their passing BESIDES their QB? Their pass protection.. This team has so many holes, the biggest issue right now to me is the COACHING..

Not to mention they had a Rookie RT in the game and their starting C went out with an injury. While our starting o-line got demolished.

we currently have 3 FIRST ROUND PICKS on our O-Line...how has that worked out

This regime has picked 2 and so far Long has been good and Pouncey hasn't looked so bad. Now if you want to ask me how Carey, Columbo and Incognito looked, then we can go out and have a laugh and a drink somewhere. Not saying we don't need an upgrade at QB play, but our oline is much more serious. Right now we could sign 3 new o-linemen and I could be happy. We could draft a QB in the first round and sign o-line or pick them up via free agency. Idc, but right now we need to fix the o-line, defense, and all the other holes. Obviously every team has their holes they they tried to mask, but the Patriots exposed us in the first game and makes it look like our whole team is just one giant hole now.. You can have the greatest QB in the world but if he has to leave the game on a cart or via concussion hes useless on that sideline...This isn't the Troy Aikmen days anymore where you can play with concussions.

Carey has been a disaster in the league (for a first rd pick)...Long is pretty good (not sure u want pretty good with the first overall pick). Pouncey is yet to be determined but will prob be average at best. The Long pick was terrible..We have been starving for a QB for 15 years and there was one sitting there and we passed for a LT..Who exactly did we pick him to protect?

Please . . . disaster in the league? Disasters aren't considered top RT's at any point in their careers and Carey was considered a top 5 RT and he had the numbers to back that up. Yea he can't keep his weight down and know the knees are going a bit . . . but he is far from a disaster.

I would be more upset with Aaron Rodgers, passing him up for Ronnie Brown. Or even worse passing on Drew Brees, when everybody wanted him . . . we take a CB instead.

LOL@Carey top 5 Rt in the league...Not a chance...He gets beaten at every position he has been moved to. BTW you dont move a top 5 RT to another postion on the line..
