I don't know about ya'll, but for me, enough doom and gloom, next man up. Coaches get the next one ready to go, season depends on it.

The team worked out Matthews, the UFA from Titans, during mini camp.

Lol. Typical Dolphins karma

Always great news surrounding our dolphins, isn't there? :tumbleweed:

The update from Mike Florio is alarming. He says it was a significant tear and it's unknown when Pouncey will return. Yikes.

It sucks. But we got time to sign a guy and a whole training camp to get him ready. This team can't catch a break!

He has probably been playing several years with a stray bullet from Aaron Hernandez lodged in there and it finally started causing problems. Pouncey and the team used the fake injury as a cover for the surgery to remove the bullet.

time to trade for a backup center

No. It was time to draft a center. The time to trade was last offseason.......... by trading Pouncey like myself and a handful of other posters urged.

What was Satele's pff grade last year? He looked decent to me. And he's Samoan, I like Samoans.

How the hell does hr need hip surgery??? What is he 90?

Well in gangster years he is probably pretty close to 90. He is already past the average age for death or life in prison.

My understanding is Mike Pouncey's labrum injury was nagging him thru spring. Decided to get it taken care of, for long-term stability.

Yea. He made the decision to take care of it AFTER his contract was picked up for that extra year and just far enough into the summer that he could theoretically miss the entire season. :ponder: Go figure.

But, hey. Thats Mike Pouncey for ya. Plenty of us tried to tell you guys. But NOOOOOOOOOO it couldnt be that Pouncey is just a poor excuse for a human being and dosent deserve to be on this team. Gotta love Pouncey. We drafted him. Pro bowler. Thats what counts. Nevermind he is a worthless thug, cares only about himself, the team plays just as well without him, and we havent won a damn thing with him.

Looks like a few fans roasting Pouncy over the Martin affair and not giving him much slack are going to see what they ask for. This kinda reminds me of Shula's and Dave W. final year when they attempted to overhaul the offensive line and came up snake eyes on the outside looking in. For those wishing for a running game Ricky Williams would not even play on a team like that and took a break to smoke dope for a couple of years. Ricky Williams would not do it do ya really beleive finesse runner Thomas and Miller are going to get it done? Moreno is already limping too.
My best guess would maybe trying a little Marinio magic with quick dump passes to the running backs like we did with Stanly Prichett and Troy Stafford back in the days not saying we have the backs to do it but I believe Miller and THomas might be better suited for that style anyway.
Stacking up to be a long year.
