Pouncey has hip surgery out possibly 3 months

All of the posters that say the line is better with out him now have a chance to see if it is true. Big loss.

I do think Garner can be okay and has experience.

While I agree with you and thats who I see as our first option Gardner is another one who has not been able to stay healthy when given the opportunity to fill a starting role in the past. Brenner appears a little light in the pants IMO and Hoops says the Larsen kid is too slow. Options on the team look a little thin unless Gardners can stay healthy again IMO.

Figures. This team reeks of failure. Tannehill is gonna get obliterated behind another revolving door line, he and failbin will be gone but hickey will remain, and we'll get to start all over again.

People thought we would be better off without him AND with no replacement? Maybe one or two, but certainly not a large number. His eventual replacement should have been signed and/or drafted this year so we'd be prepared for his eventual departure, whether that is for way too much money somewhere else or prison. I doubt anybody was hoping for something far worse: an injury with no backup plan.

That being said, I have zero doubt that a crappy person and terrible leader like him will keep himself off the field as long as humanly possible. He'll probably pop up in the last couple of games to show that he's healed so he can get that ca$h money yo! Hopefully from somebody else. Of course, that would likely mean that Ireland 2.0 would throw another 1st round pick at the O-line, because Dolphins.

Unless Tannehill completely tanks, I think he will be back for his final year in his contract. it would be great if we managed to get Harbaugh somehow and he could turn Tannehill into something like he did with Alex Smith.

they better try for a trade or find good replacement. This injury will definitely have an impact on Philbins (and Hickey's) jobs if they cant get someone who can perform similar to Pounceys level, because that guy is not currently on this roster.

On the bright side, you know how amazing it would be if one of these guys steps up and proves to be a solid Center? Save money, get a turd off the team, AND save throwing another high pick or WAY overpaying a FA? Fantastic. Which means it won't happen, because, again, Dolphins.

Dennis - we have Richie Incognito on line 3. He says that he's in peak condition and still available if you need him, he has stopped beating his Ferrari with a bat and has joined Sociopaths Anonymous. Do you want to speak to him?

He wasn't really good anyway last year so tell him to go back to beating the Ferrari and continue his job as bouncer at a strip club

Maybe Joe Philbin will suit up at center. Imagine a 6'4" 170 pound 54 year-old center.

What's Tim Ruddy or Seth McKinney doing these days?

This pretty much sums it up.

There were some pretty adequate centers available in FA who we failed to sign. Pouncey couldve been traded for a decent pick that couldve been used on any position. That Smith guy that was the Packers center wouldve been a fine stop gap who knows the system. The whole line couldve been rebuilt with a few mediocre FA signings and a few draft picks. That is what shouldve been done.

There was really no reason to keep Pouncey around considering what transpired over the last couple of years and his character. But, Dolphins.

What happened did a bag of black tar heroin rupture in his belly while he was playing drug mule?
