If it is, then it is a state issue, not federal. Any federal law would apply to all states, not just certain ones. If you took you gun to MA then you would be violating MA law, not federal law.

It is true. 100% positive on that. There is no federal law that say you can have a certain gun in one state but not another state. The law you are referring to is a state law, which you are conflating with the federal interstate commerce clause.
 
When it's time to tar and feather, the posse won't let something as silly as a facts spoil the party...

There are situations where it is a federal violation, like if the owner of the gun was a convicted felon (federal law prevents felons from owning guns), but the situation you proposed is not.

If you cross state borders and violate any law regarding trafficking or distribution of a controlled substance (guns are controlled) the FBI and/or the ATF becomes the enforcing body and you face Federal charges a that point.
 
Poor Pouncey so stressed, maybe he should sue the NFL for bullying him and making him feel stressed. In this day and age it just might stick.
