Listening to all the hate on Pouncy based on all the hype that the media put out there about the entire situation tells you a couple of things. To many folks really believe and buy into what the media spews out all the time and second even if it is partially true jumping on Pouncy makes them no better than the Incognito types they think that they are calling out or standing up to.

It's the tolerance of the tolerant. But those people will not see the hypocrisy of their actions.

If you cross state borders and violate any law regarding trafficking or distribution of a controlled substance (guns are controlled) the FBI and/or the ATF becomes the enforcing body and you face Federal charges a that point.

Only if the guns were illegally acquired or the purchase/sale of them violates federal law, and that's why the subpoena for Pouncey came from a state court, not a federal court. If it were federal laws being broken, then the subpoena would have come from a federal court.

There was federal legislation passed called the Firearm Owners Protetcion Act passed in 1986, and there is established case law supporting it. What Goon was saying about transporting legally acquired guns across state lines is not a violation of federal statutes.

I am implying based on the time on that jury that the Feds leaned heavily on gun traificing heavily to incriminate citizens or non citizens. Most US citizens are not even aware of the laws that surround that issue or that they are even committing a crime. So while to the normal guy it sounds pretty impressive a gun trafficing charge is pretty common by a large number of folks whom are not even aware they are doing anything illegally.

It's easier said than done. If everyone would drop it and let it go, it would disappear. The fact that the PC police keep bringing it up over and over and over makes it intolerable. I can barely take it, I can't even imagine what he's going through. The whole situation was ridiculous to start with anyway and for the media to dwell on it is tiring. Maybe they should take a ride up to Baltimore and ask Ray Rice 7,000 questions about knocking his wife out and then dragging her out of an elevator.

Ehhh I dunno... Pouncey's been a repeat-offender in the Dumbo category. I'd say until enough time goes by with him on good public-image behavior, he's earned what's been coming to him.

I think you are talking about that guy Martin that had no support from his team when he walked out on them because they really knew what was going on, not the same information that the media put our there and what the media then told us. Of course Martin's mommy who is a lawyer sues for that exact type of thing to make a living for her family out in California and she is very, very sucessful at it. So its not like Martin could have been coached up to make himself a victim by a pretty good teacher.

There's a difference between supporting a murderer and supporting someone accused of murder that "you" think is innocent. Regardless of if he's right or wrong Pouncey seems to think Hernandez is innocent and thinking that is not a crime, despite what some people here think. So if I think Lee Harvey Oswald didn't shot John F Kennedy does that mean I'm in favor of the assassination?
