2nd Preseason Game will be a showcase for Matt Moore. As it stands, Garrard is winning the QB competition and Tannehill is looking good. The coaches should have a read on who will be starter after game 1. If its Garrard, he will start preseason game 2, but the bulk of the game will showcase Moore. He will be traded to a team like San Diego who needs a solid backup.

Tannehill is showing enough that having both Moore and Garrard doesn't make sense. Additionally, it seems like Devlin is showing enough to warrant a roster spot.

I think Moore could net at least a 4th, and that would be well worth it.

He will be traded when? Not sure

He will only fetch a very late round pick not a 4th and likely not a 5th but maybe... a 5th

No if your going to get something for him i dont see more than a 6th for him.............

at least a 4th? seriously? you would be lucky, extremely luck, to get a conditional late rd pick for him especially if Garrard and tannehill are playing well.

If Tim Tebow is worth a 4th and 6th round pick, Matt Moore, you know, a QB who can actually throw a ball into the hands of a WR instead of only at their feet, should be able to net at least a 4th.

I think he here traded too, when Idk but I bet he does

Moore's been awful this entire week from all accounts.

I don't think he will be traded at all because:

1.) Gerarrd is outplaying Moore, however, Moore doesn't practice well. The competition is great for everyone.
2.) Based on what happened to Gararrd in 2010...Moore is a great insurance policy.
3.) Moore is a good Backup.
4.) Moore wouldn't demand much on the open market, unless a season ending injury happens to a starting QB somewhere else. Even then, it's not like he could walk on and start. He would have to learn the playbook and learn all the "term" languauge differences.
5.) If that was their intent all along, trainning camp would have looked much different.
6.) If Garrard goes down. and more comes in, the day is saved. If Gararrd does down and Tanny comes in, the season is over. He's just not ready yet. Maybe that will change, but as of now, he's not ready yet.

This team isn't a 4th round pick away from a superbowl.
This team is however, a season ending injury to Gerrard away from not making the playoffs if Moore is not there.

1 year rental of Matt Moore is not worth a 4th to any team. Our best hope is if a team's starter goes down on IR before the trade deadline. THEN he's worth a 4th or 5th

I'm gonna have to agree that Moore gets traded at one point. I cant see a scenario where we keep all three QBs and still develop Tannehill at one point hes gonna have to elevate into our starting QB or 2nd string.

I think he should be traded too. Let's at least wait until his stock is up (as the poster suggested, after a preseason start). Maybe a starting QB goes down for a "playoff caliber team" and we can get some good value for him. Let Garrard start this year for a long shot playoff berth and let Tannehill take the reigns if we are below .500 or at the start of next season.

no way we get a 4th and if you are gonna trade him i'm sure it will be much later than week 2 of the preseason...like just prior to final cuts or preseason game 4...they'll want to make sure garrard health wise looks like he can hold up with the back as long as they can before they trade moore

I'm not getting into the Tenbow stuff in this thread, there is not a chance in the world Miami gets a 4th rd pick for Matt Moore. if Ireland can do that I will be astounded.

whatever we get for him makes no difference to me, we dont win nothin, and we dont gain nothin , by trading him. I guess maybe we clear some cap space, so thats a ++

Let's see how the QB's play before predicting who gets traded. You are getting premature. One of our QB's could get hurt in either game..then what?
Tanne has not shown anything while under pressure. He might fold like a cheap beach umbrella. Garrard has been slightly better than Moore in practice, but we all know Moore plays much better in the games. What if Garrard plays like crap in the games. It could happen. It is just too early to make predictions.
Moore and Garrard were pulled off the trash pile..nobody wanted them. We will not get much ..if anything for either of those guys.
Just my .02
