Question for the sky is falling crowd........

[/B]
No, no you don't. You THINK you do, just as think I do....but it has yet to be determined.

Is he suddenly gonna develop accuracy at age 26? Is he gonna stop getting sacked every single game? Are his passes gonna stop being batted down all the time? He has a lot of **** to fix.

Face it, the Dolphins have been the exact same team for the past decade, and that carried right over into the 2 games this season.

A team that thrives on HEARTBREAK and AGONY. Of course they won the first game, if only so that they could get our hopes up before dashing them like brittle eggs cast off a tall building onto the hard, rocky gravel below. The only purpose of the Miami Dolphins is to bring the greatest possible misery, with just the right amount of unfulfilled hope sprinkled in, to all of the poor masochistic bastards that waste their lives away rooting for them. I don't know what I did in my previous life to deserve this team, but it must have been awful.

This. I'm 27. Been a fan for 20+ years. Didn't even see the glory days. Still a fan. Always will be. Curse?

Speak for yourself...I saw the perfect season.

I also have watched this game long enough to know you don't quit after 2 games with a 1-1 start....unless you are truly of a loser mentality.

Maybe that is the problem. A loser mentality has infected this place like the plague and some are to dumb to realize it is one damn game jeez!

I was shocked when I saw the name attached to the OP. He should know better than a comparison of this type, and plenty of posters appropriately let him know about it.

Patriots on the road after a loss is as close to a certainty as we have these days in the NFL. It remains to be seen how good they are in normal weeks. Brady's arm still looks fine but his downfield accuracy is not what it used to be. That's the primary concern I've heard from two friends who are New England fans, along with how much Wilfork has left, and whether too many marginal players are starting on the offensive line.

As far as anyone who saw the Perfect Season not having anything to complain about, that's rubbish. I'm sickened that younger fans get stuck with a stadium like this, instead of a rollicking venue that dictates outcomes and brings out the passion and ferocity of the entire community. I hated to leave the Orange Bowl area after all those dominant wins by the Dolphins and Canes.

Bluefin's point is quite obvious you don't abandon a season after a 1 and 1 start when you haven't given up homefield advantage

If people really think Bluefin was trying to compare the Pats to the Phins they are moronic imbeciles -

Read the whole post and maybe a little into "the spirit of the post" before making lepaing judgements - no one IN MY FREAKING 10 YEARS ON THIS SITE HAS EVER EVER MADE a like COMPARISON to the Pats and Phins of the past 15 years that a few of you are suggesting - let it go

The question is are u throwing the season after two games? Are you? If you are you are fool

Same issues have persisted for the last decade...I'm sorry you can't see that? Glasses tinted aqua and orange?

I'll reiterate again. The season is not over. Anyone saying it is over is incorrect.

Not the same team though huh? Last year Miami beat NE at home and couldn't beat Buffalo. So far in 2014 the same thing has happened. Those are facts. Let's see if Miami has the balls to finish better than 8-8.

I'm glad you agree on point one. And as I've said throughout the board the sample size is too small, true as it may be as we are still structured the same way. You could argue we didn't beat the Pats like we beat them down this year. The team is still structured the same way, it wasn't all fixed in one offseason obviously. We're still a team with an offense with questions and a defense built by a strong pass rush that will show up most weeks, and leave you scratching your head another. The team needs to find week to week consistency, that's where they will find their success and two weeks in isn't where we discover if the team has found that consistency. New system and new OL is a big piece of the puzzle, if that comes together, if the QB's ball placement improves, if the WR's run routes at the right depth and if the interior OL protection improves the consistency will be found IMO. I look at the ball placement, it hadn't been an issue in the past for Tannehill, so to me I can lump in the ball placement and the correct depth from the WR's as factors working against each other now. I can also point towards the fact they're in a very new system and that we have capable enough personnel to improve there. I can look at the interior OL and see that our best OL is back in two weeks, that will help the interior pass protection. Knowshon helps as a passing down back when he's back. Those are my biggest gripes with the offense (which is our root issue) and I see projectable factors that should improve in theory. No guarantee they will but the pieces are in place for marked improvement over last year. Just my IMO, too early for such a large portion of this forum to take the whoa is me stance.

I get the sense on this board, not from you in particular there is this obsession with being right about everything. I don't really get it...like what's the point in saying I was right in week 2, when you're not really right you just happened to be right at the end of the season. Nobody with this little exposure to the team can possibly have drawn a well supported conclusion. People basically say we've sucked for years, we've started the same way and we're going to continue to suck. It happens plenty of the time, but it also happens the other way plenty, nothing about football is predictable as people build up in their minds.

I see perfectly fine. Im not going to jump off a bridge and automatically assume that we are going to go 1-15...maybe you need some perspective

Because the issues of the last 10 years TOTALLY affect what happens this year, right?

Actually, they do. It's called a CULTURE OF MEDIOCRITY. The same players who gave us 8-8 last year and 7-9 the year before are still here. The same coaches are here. Propagating the culture of mediocrity. It's why the Cubs have gone 80 years without a championship. Why the Indians haven't won in sixty years. Why the football Cardinals were the laughingstock of the league for generations.

I wish Bill Lazor luck. More accomplished coaches than he have been unable to change and overcome the culture of mediocrity. It's the curse of the perfect season.

I think the point was what does that have to do with right now? None of that stuff matters at this exact point.

Truly one of the most ironic post I have ever read... An RT fanboy calling all the people who see this team as another mediocre team 'losers!' Truly Ironic. Thanks for the laugh. I guess what we call 20+ years of disappointment is what you call 20+ years great times... I wonder who the real 'losers' are here.

Apparently reading comprehension is not your strong suit. A loser mentality is trying to find fault in everything just so you can say you were right.

I dont recall seeing such outrage when we won interesting how that works huh? Maybe i would take your stupid post seriously if you didnt come off as a troll that you are.

Go crawl back under your rock, I expect you will be back when we win. But we all know that isnt going to happen.

I'll be back when we go 6-10, and then you will tell me it was the OL's fault, or the WR's fault, or how it takes QB's typically 8 years to develop in the NFL, you will tell me (and yourself) whatever it is to make it seem like Miami is some juggernaut, when we are still as good (or bad) as last year. Again, all the people who KNOW this team is mediocre, aren't the losers! Its the guys who live in fairyland that are the real losers. We are just keeping it realistic. We lost to BUF last year 19-0, and lost to BUF this year 29-10...whats so different? We actually put up 10 points this time around.... WOO FRICKIN HOO! Congrats Miami for that stellar performance, come up and take a bow!

Heres what I love to do (keep it real) and im about to keep it real for all you RT FANBOYS:

EJ Manuel is CLEARLY DEVELOPING AT A FASTER RATE and IS INDEED THE BETTER QB(and WAYYYYYYY stronger leader and thats not even close) between him and Ryan Tannehill.....so chew on that fanboys... I could probably say the same for Geno Smith.

One last thing, I remember mentioning the Browns last year in a post after the season ended and all the Phin fans came telling me that the Browns were garbage (and once again acting like Miami is some juggernaut)... well 2 weeks in and the Browns are putting up more points against better teams then we played WITHOUT their best players on offense (Tate, Gordon, and Cameron)....a Phins fan worse nightmare is hindsight.

Wow the stupidity in that rant is amazing! Tell me why you are on this site again?

You prove my point in your first sentence. "I will be back when we go 6-10" You only show up so you can say you are right.

You are a clown...see your way out.
