The turnovers killed us....
The passing game was fine, and the running game was not. The defense looked great IMO, and the ST's was very solid...
The offense is going to struggle during the pre-season, especially against these blitz happy teams. In all fairness though, I thought the OL gave the QB's decent protection last night. The mental breakdown that cost us 7 was an error by McDougal, and those things are bound to happen regardless....
I'm not happy about losing, but get a grip people, this is only pre-season. If this were a regular season game, and we lost 17-3, how bad would you actually feel?? The Steelers are considered a strong SB contender this year. Our defense showed up and played well enough to keep us in this game....
I'm not that upset at all because I was expecting much worse. The turnovers killed us, but beyond that, we're making progress IMO, especially on defense...
