I know this might sound crazy but... why can't the team keep Ramsey and fine him game checks? his salary is guaranteed but can they re-coup their losses, he doesn't have the leverage because he's getting paid, don't allow him to be picked by Buffalo, keep his contract in your pocket.

They could, but I think he’d be taking up a roster spot. So, only play with 52 players while he’s still here, trade him, or cut him.
