Randy Mac arrested in Augusta, GA......

This isn't some cut and dry incident like catching a guy racing someone at 111 mph on the highway with more than the legal limit of alcohol in their system.

This is a fight between two people, not one. It's not like Randy just walked up to her and knocked her the F out.

Why? Is it because I would'nt want a wife beating thug on my team?

No, it is because you resort to black and white labels too easily and therefore obfuscate about 99 percent of the details.

imagine if nick benched his ***......wow

if he decided to do that i'd support it...but maybe fine his *** hardcore , nick's definitely gotta do something.

Saban won't do jack to McMike. Now the league that may be another thing. Here goes last season all over again.:shakeno:

He was telling her "to get her sh#@ and go" while throwing her stuff out of the car.

She was ACCIDENTLY hit with a piece of cardboard......

Lets not pretend that he "closed fist" punched her in the face.

There is a huge difference between the two scenarios.

With that said......

He needs to get the F away from her before things escalate someday.

That's your opinion man, but I think you're making a bigger deal of it than it is. You would like to turn everything black and white, but we live in a world of gray. Randy could easily have been the one with the drops of blood under his nose, if you know their history together. And, if that was the case, the cops probably wouldn't have been called.

He hit his wife...unless she physically assaulted him he had ZERO reason to hit her....cardboard or not.

The man is 6'3" 255 LBS....he has to understand that he can and will do serious damage to someone if he strikes them.

The issue I am starting to have is how so many of you seem to support him. Does'nt anyone here think that having a wife beater on our team is a bit of a mistake?

This is Nick Saban's first TRUE test as a disciplinarian. He has a decision to make...and I don't think it is a very difficult one. How people view this organization as a whole could be based on how he handles this situation. Randy McMichael is a good player but he is not worth casting a dark cloud upon the entire team.

Randy Mc is a wife beater...it does'nt get any more cut and dry then that. Wife beaters in my opinion are pieces of crap. Therefore, that makes Randy McMichael a piece of crap....a steaming hot piece of crap.

I don't care who he is...starting tight end or 4th string long snapper...I'd waive his a$$.

Anyone who supports Randy and his spousal abuse needs their head examined.
I don't condone spousal abuse in any way, shape, or form, but why are you jumping to conclusions?! He may have told her repeatedly to get away from him (you know how some women are extremely persistent) and she refused to listen. You know that no matter WHAT transpires, it's always going to look bad on the male in an incident like that, when in essence, females are responsible for spousal abuse just as much as males they just don't get reported simply because, well, would you report if your wife was beating you???

I dunno.. Once is an accident, two is a trend.. I think McMichael is a wifebeater.. And I dont want him associated with the team.. I used to like him, but this is something I cannot condone.

One other thing.....

What in the hell is Randy doing driving a 1984 Cadillac????

agreed, ill boo him everytime i see his @$$ on the field. i wish we would cut him. however unrealistic that may be, the guys a joke

I was really hoping Saban could help get rid of these off the field issues.

Considering that some of our new arrivals (and holdovers for that matter) have criminal records, that's going to be a bit hard to do.

It was an accident.....

This really dissapoints me because I like Randy's presence on the field, but this is the SECOND violent incident with his wife... once leaving her with marks on her face, and now with a bloody nose.. This is a problem.. This IS spousal abuse, regardless of who instigates it.. This isnt an accident.. A man has to learn restraint sometime.. You wouldve thought he wouldve learned from the first incident.. guess not.

Randy McMichael will NOT be resigned, and I could even see him getting cut...
