Ravens beating Detroit did not hurt us at all.

The Ravens should beat the Patriots while the Vikings have been playing a lot better lately and could pull off an upset against the Bengals.

Btw, if anyone is wondering......

Root for the Bengals to lose next week and of course the Phins to win.

This would set up a HUGE 4pm where we can root for Baltimore and San Diego.

If the Phins win, Baltimore wins, and Cinci loses, the Phins will enter week 17 with an opportunity(albeit very slim) to win the 2 seed and a first round bye. Id run through the mall wearing nothing but a Santa hat.
I would just hope for the Bengals to fold but they have been excellent at home so I don't see it. would be great if the Vikes keep playing tough one more week

Not if San Diego also finished 9-7 along with the Dolphins and Ravens. In the case of a 3 team tie, the Dolphins get the wildcard.

WV is right in that the Ravens have to lose a 7th game to an AFC team for Miami to get the tiebreaker.

Screw that, let's just the fins in the playoffs. If fins win next week and bengals lose. The ravens losing would get fins locked into the 6th spot. I just can't see patriots losing out especially against the bills. Brady Owns the bills. You do know Brady and Co's record is like 16-1 against the Bills right?

I disagree. The Bills are good team and have matchup positives vs. Miami. The Jets have beaten the Pats and Saints and will play balls out the last game of the year with nothing to lose.

If the Dolphins get swept by the Bills this year they do not deserve to be in the Playoffs. The Jets beat the Patriots and Saints in New Jersey. Both those teams do not play as well away from their own stadiums.

Pats lose out, we win out, ravens win out, bengals win one game and pats don't make it?
truth is, crazier things have happened.

us winning out- beating bills and jets- should happen
ravens win out- will be tough, but ravens seem to play up to competition, and they play pats tough always, and game is in balt, and going to cincy division rivals anything can happen.
bengals win 1 game- beat minn

the most unlikely thing is buffalo winning in foxboro, but the pats r deff not the same. we shall see.

this seems like the 1st time in a long time that week 17 in the nfl will be really exciting, not just for the fins, but in general.

think about all the possibilities.

afc north can be up for grabs, afc east up for grabs, afc west up for grabs, nfc north up for grabs, nfc east up for grabs, wildcards, etc.

looking forward.

Miami has to take care of business in Buffalo. The Bills will be ready to go folks. This is going to be a brutally tough game.
To win out we need to win 3 division games in a row. Never an easy task.

I'd actually love to see NE get in as the 3rd seed and us as the 6th and us beat them in their own back yard. THAT would be a VERY satisfying win and almost super bowl esque.

ill take anything that guarantees us a playoff game, but the look on the pats fans and players faces if they collapse and miss out would be priceless.

Bills game scares the **** out of me... Orchard Park has been a house of horrors in Dolphins history. The weather will be a nightmare. And that D presents problems for our offense. We just got to hope for a stinker game from EJ.

I am not worried about the Jets as Geno's confidence is shot. He is good for at least one backbreaking turnover per game. Dolphins won't lose that one at home with everything on the line.

Week 16 is huge. Beat the Bills, Ravens lose and Bengals loss and Miami clinches. However, lose to the Bills, Ravens win, Bengals win and Chargers lose and Miami is eliminated.

Here is something else I dont understand.......

If Im going to play a playoff game, Id obviously rather host it as the 2 or 3 seed. But, if I MUST be the 6 seed, which for some reason everyone here on FH loves the idea of, Cinci is the team I least want to face on the road. I dont get why everyone wants to sign up for this game. First, lets just take a look at all 6 of the Bengals home game results this year.......

ALL WINS

20-10 over Steelers
34-30 over Packers(with Rodgers)
13-6 over Patriots
49-9 over Jests
41-20 over Browns
42-28 over Colts

Thats 3 good teams they knocked off in that building and 3 double digit wins vs teams under .500. 6-0. Im sorry, but Id much rather play @ New England or @ Baltimore. While both of those teams are good at home as well, Id like our chances a bit better, especially @ New England. We had them beat up there last time and we beat them at home. The Bengals arent a joke in that building. I know we beat the Bengals in our place, but going up there and winning would be a tall order. We could certainly do it, but thats a tough place to win this year.

wow we can be eliminated this week? that would so be the fins to do that after a thrilling victory.

highly unlikely though, cant see chargers losing at home to the raiders who have been beyond horrendous of late.

just hope we win.

As long as thurman thomas isn't playing, we should be fine. Or is that Thad Lewis?

ouch. If we are eliminated this weekend... ugh.

I wanted to clinch next week. Oh well, let's take care of business.
