Ravens beating Detroit did not hurt us at all.

It's all conjecture at this point. One thing for sure, Miami better come ready to play and hope it isn't snowing. Mario Williams at our olines asshole last game when it mattered. Many think that the Pats game was the turning point for Tannehill and to an extent, I agree. However, these next two games speak the most volume IMO. If he puts up a stinker against the Bills, that muddies the picture some. We need consistency and he has been that way the 2nd half of the season. Now more than ever, Ryan Tannehill needs to be the leader. We have always struggled in games like this. DO NOT look past this game. Historically any divisional game has been a hard fought assed game. Prepare for a very tough game on sunday. Anything less and you will be setting yourself up for some serious misery.

So, if the following plays out:

Miami (10-6): WIN @ Buffalo, WIN vs. New York
Baltimore (10-6): WIN vs. New England, WIN @ Cincinnati
Cincinnati (10-6): WIN vs. Minnesota, LOSS vs. Baltimore
New England (10-6): LOSS @ Baltimore, LOSS vs. Buffalo

Miami gets #2, Baltimore #3, Cincinnati #6, and NE ELIMINATED! Don't see NE losing out but that would be amazing!

No. Actually we would need the Bungles to lose vs Minnesota, then come back the next week and beat Baltimore. We can win a tiebreak at 10-6 with Cinci for the 2 seed in the event we win the division.

So its Phins W vs the Bills and Jests
Pats L vs Ravens and Bills
Bungles L vs Vikings
Bungles W vs Ravens

Thats 6 games, 6 outcomes to go our specific way. Not likely, but possible. If those 6 dominoes fall that way, we are the 2 seed. Id **** a rainbow.

Also, I havent checked into it, but Im not sure what the 3 team tiebreak would be if the Colts, Phins, and Ravens all won their divisions at 10-6. Would be interesting to know. Another unlikely scenario but, worth checking out.

we get 2 seed in that scenario

Probably head to head, then conference record, then something dumb like points scored against common opponents...

if anyone actually thinks that brady is getting knocked out of the playoffs by the bills, at foxboro, they need to get real.

Lastly, FWIW........

Just again...... I hate to keep harping on it...... BUT.............

If we had just beaten the God Damned SORRY ASS BILLS AT HOME earlier in the year, we could take the division lead with a win over Buffalo this week and a Pats loss AT Baltimore. The phins and ravens will likely be the favorites in those 2 games. Just sayin....... we would have the all too realistic shot of going into week 17 just needing to beat the Jests at home to go 11-5 and win the god damned division AND the 2 seed in the AFC...... which of course is what I predicted in August. God Damnit. ****ing Tannehill. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although you do realize had we won ANY of the AFC games we lost, we would be in the same situation as the Buffalo win as we would own the conference tiebreaker over New England in a tiebreaker situation.

If the refs are not doing their show in favor of Baltimore it´s impossible they win against the patriots and Cincy they are a very mediocre team . most of their wins have been undeserved thanks to an aid here an there by the officiating.

Yes, but again the Bills loss is the one that is toughest to take for the following reasons......

1) Its the god damned Bills. How can people not be sick of losing to them?

2) The Ravens are a much better team than the Bills. The Bills at home was probably the easiest game on our AFC schedule.

3) We were coming off a bye week

4) They started THAD ****ING LEWIS in that game

5) The horrible turnovers that killed us in that game. It was a brutal loss. We couldve won that game much easier than the other close ones we lost to AFC teams.

That game was an absolute killer. Thats why I pointed it out then and why Ive been saying ALL SEASON since it happened that it would be the one that would come back to really haunt us.

People set their sights so low. I knew this was a season we could capture the 2 seed. It was right there for the taking. Who wouldnt be going ape**** right now if we were in prime position for that 2 seed? I knew Denver was the only dominant team in the conference this year. It was ours.

Oh well....... lets get in this **** and go on a run. We can do it. We have a good team. Tannehill is playing well lately and can get it done. I will be very proud of him if we win this week.

Yeah but it did happen, and that's hindsight. I don't like thinking too much into that as it will drive you crazy. Fact is, it was set up for fins to have a decent chance of locking it up. Oh well, fins would still have to beat the bills next week anyway regardless, so in that sense, the fins still had to do and still have to do their job anyway which can't be taken for granted against the bills.

Bills, Patriots (game 1 for slow people), carolina and baltimore. Take your pick...

We absolutely shut down Baltimore in the first half of that game. I think they had under 100 yards total offense and then typical dolphins bull**** overcame the defense in the second half and then the oline imploded.

Patriots game 1 was a disgrace. Up 17-3 at halftime I believe and in Foxboro. Crowd was booing them going into the locker room at half time. We collapse.

Bills was just dumb all around. Pathetic.

Carolina was another tough loss. We really took it to them too and injured their qb and still found a way to lose a game at the end.

All complete and utter bull**** losses.

According to ESPN's playoff machine, Phins would still be in the 2 seed. Either the Pats or Bengals would be the 6th seed, depending on how the Bengals do in week 16.

If the Colts do end up going 10-6, its because the Chiefs knocked them around next week. Which would probably lead to KC ending up with a 13-3 record...and the 5th seed. And i thought we couldnt catch a break

For those that dont know about the playoff machine:

As long as the Dolphins beat two teams that they should beat they will be in the Playoffs. If they lose to either the Bills or Jets they really don't deserve to be in.
By that logic the saints, eagles, broncos, and bengals don't deserve to be in either. They all lost this week to teams they should have beaten.

The Ravens beating Detroit doesn't hurt us, it just means we have to put more faith in the scarily inconsistent product that is the Miami Dolphins.
