Ravens beating Detroit did not hurt us at all.

Y'all are missing a VERY IMPORTANT POINT.

WE. DO. NOT. CONTROL. OUR. OWN. DESTINY.

We can WIN OUT, be 10-6 and MISS THE PLAYOFFS.

We are totally dependent on a team losing that has been THE thorn in our side for a decade, that simply refuses to die, ever. A team that has won 2 Super Bowls without even playing ONE playoff game at home.

Hello! We need the ravens to be BEATEN. Period. Go Pats.

Yes...we...do!

If we win out and and the Ravens win out, they're AFC North division champs. Cinci gets left out because we own the tie breaker over them.

We're gonna lose to the Bills I just know it.

I'm hoping New England can BEAT Baltimore and the Chargers can beat the Raiders, that way we gain the sixth seed in the 3-way tie scenario. We'd just need to beat the Jets at that point and hope to finish either ahead of the Ravens or in that 3 way tie once again which is possible week 17 and we'd be in.

Actually the chargers would have to beat the raiders AND the chiefs. And the chiefs will be playing that last game for a chance at homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. That will be a hard game for the chargers to win. But you are right that is another way we can lose one game and still get it.

sorry, right now we're not only playing for a playoff spot, we're playing for the division. if we win out, and NE loses out, we win the division and possibly the number 2 seed.

If the Lions won it would have given the Dolphins more margin for error OR a chance to clinch this week with a win and a Ravens loss. Margin for error thing really gets me though as I don't see this team winning in Buffalo, where the Ravens fell, where the Patriots almost fell, Heck didn't Carolina lose there? They are NOT a bad team, just on the wrong end of some close losses.

That's great, except Buffalo hasn't won in New England in 150 years. So we're supposed to think the team WE beat in Buffalo can beat the team we NEED them to beat in Foxboro? Dumb.

Totally agreed. The buffalo game is ALWAYS tough. This is the one that defines this season IMO...I don't see us losing to the jets at home with playoffs on the line.

You sir are DEAD WRONG !!!! You could not be MORE wrong if you were trying. The fins needs help from NO ONE. We win out and we are at 10-6, if the ravens win out they are 10-6, but them winning out means they would have had to beat cincy on the last week. This would give them their division as they are only one game behind cincy and own the tiebreaker. Ravens beating cincy would drop cincy to (at best 10-6) tied with us. We win the H2H with cincy because we beat them already.

Bottom line is there is no chance that we could win out and NOT make the playoffs. There is several way we can win just one of the two remaining games and still make it, but it would be a long shot. Right now we control our own destiny, win and we are in.

and we hadn't beat NE in 7 tries. anything is possible. and I think it's dumb to assume that we can't beat buffalo when we just beat pitt at home and NE.

Yeah but before that bad steak of losses, we used to always split it seemed with the patriouts, I mean with beat the pats with AJ Feeley one year and with Joey Harrington another year. Whereas, the Bills since Brady was a qb for the Patriouts have only won, what two games? One last year, and one with Bledsloe, but which Bills got blown out back at the end of the season against the patriots. Jason Taylor, just gave BRady fits and fins managed to get a win with the pats, so I don't see it exactly as the same thing.

Either way I'm tired of thinking of this too much now. It happened,so whatever. EVen if the Ravens did lose, the fact is Miami would need to win next week in order for a chance to clinch next week anyway and fins still can next week. They just need to take care of business. And ravens winning eliminated the jets from any type of hope for the playoffs ha.

if there was ever a year for that to change it's this year. the patriots are vulnerable and the bills have a good matchup for them. and for us unfortunately. If you're worried about the bills beating us, then why aren't you worried about the bills beating the patriots?

good deal man. we win, we're in. nothing else matters.

Bottom line for this week is Miami needs to beat Buffalo.
That's fairly important.

Because Miami has had a history for like the past 6 seasons or so of having tough games against the bills and usually losing one game against the Bills. It seems like every season or every other season the Bills and Fins split. So the Bills have the history of beating miami whereas, the 16-1 record for patriouts indicates that the Bills don't have any history of beating the pats. We'll see, any given sunday, but because of this history, Bills do seem to have a better chance of beating miami than the patriots. Pats have the Bills number, miami doesn't
