Ray Farmer new Dolphins GM?

I like Farmer. He doesn't seem like the kind if guy who would put up with disrespect of the franchise ala Ireland. Also as a former player I'm sure players will be more receptive to him than the former ball boy.

The more I read about Farmer, the more I like. I want fire, I want someone who feels they have something to prove, not something they deserve. I want someone who is going to be thought of with respect, someone who looks at the obvious choice, and say sometimes if it seems like the right pick, just do it (aka Lane Johnson). Anyways I am just excited with have moved on from Ireland, and hopefully respectability.

I just don't see how you can hire a GM without extensive experience scouting college talent. And Hickey is the worst choice of the 3. I don't like any of the candidates at all, but if I had a gun to my head I would pick Gaine.

And people on here want Marino as our GM......smh at times.

Guys, the fact that Farmer is a former player doesn't matter and it doesn't make him a better candidate. I'm not agaisnt him being the GM but stop with the he's a former player crap....so was Matt Millen!!!! Lets see if they hire him first and then lets see how he does. He might turn out great or not but I don't believe it'll have anything to do with him being a former player.
