Hickey has stated in the past that both him and Philbin wanted to create an atmosphere that revolved around competition, which to me means nobody should take their starting job for granted, which is why I'm disappointed we didn't bring in anybody that can legitimately threaten Tannehill.

Farmer can say whatever he wants but he will be judged mostly on number 2 and whether he can hold up to 16 game seasons year after year. Bobbie Griffin can't. We'll see if number 2 can.

its funny you mention McCarron on your thread about people who feel comfortable because what I heard is that McCarron thinks he is great already.
