Report: Dolphins players may have harassed team staffer

It's amazing how now everyone that was given a dirty look wants money from the team.

Ozzy rules!!

It's funny how the word "harass" is now bandied about for what is likely normal behavior that occurs in 32 out of 32 locker rooms.... now and in the past. Not saying it's just another deadbeat looking to jump on the gravy "money fer nothin and your chicks for free" gravy train, but not saying it's not that way either :idk:

:sidelol:

WHAT? Surely you dont actually think that and you are just throwing that up there because this is the internet. Please, god, tell me that.

And this post is ignoring the fact that the staff member is objecting to it right now.

Nope. I am actually very familiar with the rules of the workplace. Offensive jokes become an issue when the joke or comment offends someone. If NOBODY is saying that the joking is offensive, then what is the issue?

Again....just because it happens in every locker room doesn't make it right and the fact that this was a staffer makes it even worse...

It is the way one treats his inferiors more than the way he treats his equals which reveals one’s real character.

Maybe they actually ARE offended, but just afraid of the massive 300lb multi millionaire saying it...?

Let's let the facts come out. You want to run with a Jason Cole Story (Mr. Peyton Manning Will Never Throw Again or Drew Rosenhaus is bilking clients of money) be my guess.

I think things were done in humor and if people were alerted that their comments were not welcomed they would stop.

I think it's high time we flush this whole staff and get rid of problem children like Incognito. Our team needs a thorough cleansing.

From what I've heard, the team is well aware of this, it was reported, and supposedly addressed at the time. Gonna be interesting to see what shakes out.

And yes, this is why I can't support Richie in this crap despite the fact that I think Jon Martin is a grade A scumsucker. Richie is a ****ing dirtbag moron.

The excuse making for Incognito around here is truly incredible sometimes. It literally doesn't matter what the guy does, does it? The guy can get kicked off of multiple teams for bad behavior, sexually assault volunteers at team functions, send threatening and harassing voicemails, harass team employees about their race including making insulting comments about their wife... yet it's always the other guy who just wants money and needs to grow a pair.

It's beyond parody. It's beyond what parents do to excuse their own stupid children. It's like a real life version of Monty Python's Dead Parrot sketch.

Then you are creating a society in which the person being bullied has no responsibility in stopping the harassment.

Anyone that feels "offended" can go to authority and cry foul. Maybe the comments were awful and warrant punishment, but there needs to protocol on stuff like this before it gets out of control.

This behavior is no different in many workplaces in America.

I don't know where you work at, but at my airline you would be immediately suspended without pay while mgt processes your termination! If you are on a trip you getting home is on your own dime because the company will pull your travel. Maybe if you are lucky after months of appeals, mediation, and most likely arbitration through the grievance process "IF" you have a very good record with the company you "MIGHT" get your job back after you agree to all sorts of HR training! If you do get your job back, which happens less then 50% on harrassment cases at my company it will be without back pay, longevity, etc.

I know I know screw this guy Incognito needs to have a good time! No holds bared when Richie wants a laugh! Attack a poor working stiff that has a crap job cleaning up after you, hat most likely lives check to check making ends meet!

It is ****ing disgusting and no Hayden billion dollar corporations do not tolerate it!

I GUARANTEE if this was happening with the Jets not one person on here would support them. Richie is a cancer and he must go!

Im tired of this all.. as long as we don't lose draft picks...get rid of them all!!!!!!!

God Damn that snake Martin for what he has potentially cost this organization

Holy ****.

Your wrong. Your just...wrong. For what your suggesting, its not that discriminatory behavior suddenly becomes legal when eyes and ears are turned in the other direction, its that people are performing in an illegal manner and its just not being reported. Much like a drunk driver who actually makes it home safely, its illegal but people get away with it from time to time.

Pointing the finger at the victim and claiming "he didnt report it so its his fault!!!" never works. Ever.
