if he's there at 11, hopefully trade with someone a few spots back (arizona) so they can jump ahead of buffalo and get him.

then take derwin james (or whoever we love that's there).

Pass, for the same reasons he's falling. You would think we'd learn our lesson on taking chances on injury risks.

From what I am hearing from My Buddies is if Rosen gets past 4 Bills going to 5 to get him.

They still want to get to two and buddies do say they already have framework for 2, 5, 7. Guess it just depends on when and for who they will pull the triggers on these. Trying to get a look at the board.

Love this idea but since it’s a QB I’m throwing the draft chart out the window.

I'd draft him if he fell to #11...absolutely.

    11. Miami Dolphins

    Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA

Potential trades make it unlikely the Dolphins will have the option of taking one of the top four quarterbacks in this draft, let alone two. They have more urgent needs on their roster, but in this scenario, it will be difficult for them to pass on Rosen and Josh Allen. Starter Ryan Tannehill has no guaranteed money due after this season, and Rosen might be the best fit for coach Adam Gase. -- Kevin Seifert

So if we do pick Rosen, which QB on our roster is more injury-prone, Rosen or Tannehill? Just wanna get it out of the way so that nobody can say “I told you so” a few months from now.

My main concern with Rosen is health. I think he has the goods. Given the position, I take the risk and draft him at 11

I agree that Buffalo is moving up, but everyone I have heard has said that they want Allen. They like his arm in that dismal Buffalo wind and climate.

Im getting tired of talking about QBs. Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield will never be has good as RT. Allen has the most potential to be like Big Ben. Rest are mediocre QBs

Hopefully some teams put their politics ahead of what’s best for their team (just like they did with Kaepernick) so we can benefit...

Based on what? News reports being forced on them from OBD. Bills didn't scout Allen ONCE this entire season

Bills have been FORCING that the like Allen into the media, all the beat guys along with Darlington confirmed that it seemed very forced from OBD sources to get them connected to Allen

Bills are going to have to give up A LOT to move up to 5. Broncos will lose a lot of value going from 5 to 12. They will be giving up a franchise defining player considering they will likely have a shot at the best non-QB player in the draft.

    What would the Bills offer?

Stock is dropping....Or the media is inhaling the smokescreen? My prediction....at LEAST 4 QB's will be gone in the top 10 picks. % in the top 16 & 6 QB's in the first round.

The funny thing is that you can easily find other posters that say the same thing about each of the QBs. That is what has me worried about the Dolphins drafting any of them.

My Buddy told me the framework to get to 5 looks like

    12, 56 (2nd), 65 (3rd) and a 5th

    Bills get 5th and a 5th

    So Not really a lot.

    5th
    22
    53
    96
    121
    Broncos 5th
either 155 or 168 (whichever they do not use in the tradeup)

Would be the Bills draft picks

No chance in hell will the Broncos make this deal without also getting 22.

already agreed on (at least as of today, could change if more teams get into mix on the pick), and it is an overpayment roughly a 20% premium on the Broncos pick. Going to 5 is the best chance for Bills to keep 22

Is your friend linked to the team? That would be a nice deal for Buffalo, but does not seem realistic. For example, if that were Buffalo's best and final, Miami or Arizona could beat that if they like Rosen. The advantage Buffalo would have is that Buffalo has a stockpile of picks. They could outbid Miami and Arizona. That offer is not in any "outbid" scenario.

Broncos would be dumb to make this move IMO. If Bills manage it, kudos to them. They worked the draft board pretty well. They'd probably then trade 22 to recoup some of the picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Yeah my buddy is connected to the Team. as well as I have friends all over the league, I called a couple Dolphin things this offseason. From what he has told me is DEN would give the Bills a chance to beat any offer. Elway and Jim are very close and there is a respect that Elway has for Bills because of his close friendship with Jim

So no real reasons. His velocity is strong but Rosen Darnold Mayfield are strong as well. Not worried about all of them and they all fit the actual offense where Allen does not.

Based on what I have heard and how internal simulations of the board it seems Vita Vea is the pick and I would hate that, he would be an excellent pick for MIA

And Now More echoing what I JUST Said

    Jeff Darlington‏Verified account @JeffDarlington

I just spoke to Bills GM Brandon Beane. Key takeaways: - He absolutely believes they have ammo to get to No. 2 without giving up much in future years — but might not need to go that high to get their guy. - He does covet at least one QB as a franchise guy. - This could be fun.

Bills GM Brandon Beane made clear to me he doesn’t plan to get robbed by anyone — especially the Giants at No. 2 overall — to move that high. His leverage for avoiding that seems simple: He could still potentially get his QB with a move to No. 4 or No. 6.

In our conversation, Bills GM Brandon Beane told me his possession of 22nd overall pick is the key here to a potential trade into Top 5 that can keep him from needing to mortgage future. Point of all this: Bills are THE team to watch that could throw top of draft into frenzy.

The more likely scenario to me then is the Browns at 4. They might prefer to have more draft choices.

Either way it confirmed to me what was told from like Feb. The Bills will try to move up however they only want to either Give up 22 this year or a 2019 1st. They do not want to include 22 and a 2019 first in any package and it seems more likely they played their cards just right on this.

To which Bill Polian hit the gong and started huffing and puffing on stage saying it makes no sense. He got "old man grumpy" at the thought.

I'd be more inclined to trust Bill Polian's opinion over George Seifert's, let alone Kevin Seifert's.

Off stage Bill and i chest bumped. It was cool.

    No news here.

Unless Buffalo wants to give up as little compensation as possible qualifies as news.
