Rex Ryan calls Brandon Marshall one of the best WR's in the game....

Obviously you have not clue at what I am trying to say. I guess you missed the part where I was implying that he is letting his mental issues spill over onto the field. The dude isn't right in the head. Say or think what you want but NO top wideouts in the NFL with the kind of physical attributes that Marshall has and sheer ability are going to try to routinely slam a defenders head into the ground. It was like he was trying to hurt Revis and whatever Jet's play to prove some kind of irrelevant point only concocted in that warped melon of his.

So that is how you want to be a "monster" on the field? It is fully apparent to me that he isn't 100% into football and he is getting away on god given ability instead of honing his craft as a wideout. Calvin Johnson and a slew of other wideouts in the NFL that actually respect and care about the game are 1000x the wideout Marshall is IMO. Until Marshall gets his **** together, he will go down as the guy who never lived up to his full potential, ala Randy Moss.

I agree with all of this...except the part of Moss not living up to his potential. Moss was an idiot and a headcase and STILL played at an elite level on the field. Marshall clearly has some mental issues that are impacting his play.

I have a serious question how come Revis is not called for illegal contact? I thought the rule was after 5 yards you are not allowed to touch the reciever? So what gives him this elite staus because he does it every week, Its real easy when you can basically push the reciever out of the way with your arm before the ball gets there.

I guess when you are considered elite when you are getting abused all game but come up with an obvious play that should have been pass interference, but every lauds the effort and calls it a great play. When you do it a couple times fine but when its everytime give me a break when its constant

Its surprising how much he gets away with it..IMO the biggest strength of his game he pulls, tugs, redirects to maintain level constantly..Rarely Called....

That dropped TD stung, but like Differ said it was a very tough catch because it was there right out of his break. Not to mention Henne never hits a WR right out of his break! Problem is it is happening every game.

Marshall slammed revisi head in the ground? It's called a stiff arm haha I guess all power running backs have mental issues because they all like to run over defenders and stiff arm them.

i actually like that play. marshall gave revis some kimnd of stiff arm and revis still made the tackle and kept him from getting the first down. that was a greta battle last night between the two of them. only thing i wonder is why the hell did your retarded OC keep going after revis? that stupidity helped the dolphins lose the game. you don't usually see a coach so hard headedly go after the strength of a teams defense again and again. revis single-handedly kept 2 td's off the board for miami and actually reversed one td into a jets td. daboll = moron. and sparano shoudl have steppin and said...."hey moron, throw away from revis"

It's a knee jerk reaction to say Marshall sucks. But we brought him in here to be a SCORING threat. A RED ZONE threat. A WEAPON on a team handicapped on offense - He's been none of these.

Can't blame the QB when you drop touchdown passes right in your hands. Marshall sucks, trade him.

Yes you can. When the pass is 2 ft behind when it should be 2 ft in front, the QB is completely to blame.

I want everyone on here to think about something.....if Marshall was traded to the Pats, how nervous would you be when we played them?? He would TORCH us every single game without question!!! He would finish the season with 1500 yards and 13 TD's with ease.

Let the guy have a QB that's worth a crap and a coach that can handle things before you trade away our top offensive threat. The guy just put up over 100 yards against the top corner tandem in the league, and did it with Matt freaking Moore!!!

Moore put the ball right in his hands last night and he dropped it.

Henne did the same weeks before.

Marshall is the guy falling out of bounds like an idiot on what should have been a TD.

I'm not disagreeing that the Dolphins don't have a good enough QB to make Marshall into the player he CAN be. But he is under performing HUGELY in Miami.

People saying 3.dropped passes. Smh.

You do know when a corner deflects a ball it isnt considered a drop right?.

I also know that the WR must come back to the ball when the defenders is on his back. If he stretches in the direction that the ball is coming from, there is no way that Revis can reach the ball. Same thing with the long pass to the goal line later in the game. Brandon Marshall is not making plays on the ball the way he should. He NEEDS to win some of those battles. Those missed opportunities are on him. Playmakers make plays. We have none.

Wrong!! You can't come back to the ball on a short yardage pass like that. It's not like he was 40 yards down field and Moore was scrambling......that was very short field and it was a 2 second play.

How do you stretch back to your right when your full momentum is running to the left? Revis should have intercepted that one too, luckily Marshall got his hands to it so he could prevent another int. I think Moore is a little better than he performed last night but pinning that all on Marshall is wrong.

So then why say he sucks and we should "trade him"???? You just said it's the QB's fault, but in the exact same post you said it's all Marshall's....

If you think that lack of QB is why Marshall isn't able to show what he really is you don't trade him.....you get him a better QB.
