Richie Incognito Knocks Out Bouncer at Club Liv (incorrect title)

How much attention did ESPN pay a few years ago when that Patriots OL was involved with pain killer dealing and had to become an informant to stay out of jail? I think it was Nick Kaczur. But Richie knocks out some wanna be tough guy in self defense and he's Hitler reincarnated. NESPN. All Boston, All the time.

Palm Beach Post says the police report says Incognito was trying to break up a fight and got hit by the security guard. He refused medical treatment and was issued a warning and was escorted out. No mention yet of Incognito throwing a punch and "knocking out" a security guard.

Sounding like ESPN and Shefter have added their own lines to this story to try and make a story.

Dolphins left guard Richie Incognito received a trespassing warning on June 10th after an alleged fight with a security guard at Club Liv in Miami Beach, according to a police report obtained by The Palm Beach Post.

The report said that Incognito and friends of his were trying to get close to a performer on stage when a security guard asked them step back. Somebody from Incognito’s group allegedly said to the guard “(expletive) you and what are you doing to do about it” and pushed the guard. A fight then broke out between the guard and Incognito, the report said. Incognito and his group were escorted out of the club.

Incognito told police that he and a group of friends were near the stage area when he noticed a fight between one of his friends and the security guard. Incognito said he was trying to break up the fight when he got hit in the face by the guard.

Incognito had minor injuries to his face and refused medical treatment. He received a trespassing warning by Miami Beach police.

Hardly sounds like the story that Schefter is trying to sell people. Sounds like the incident was more between Incognito's friend and the security guard.

adam shefter is now in the drive by media. hit and run baby!

apparently darnell docket cant beat Incog either.

How ****ing great will it be if Schefter ****ed up the report?

How dare Schefter say this was right before training camp? June 10th. Good lord, Adam.

Here's the truth about what happened, according to Miami Beach police: Incognito was trying to break up a fight, and got hit.

I gotta say, if ESPN had simply called Miami Beach PD for the police report, this would be a far different story.

Not one mention of Incognito throwing a punch and "knocking out a secutrity guard". hmmm. Still sounds like a garbage report by ESPN.

Adam Beasley is reporting that it was Incognito that was attacked. He tried to break up a fight and got punched.

Timing is curious also. Same day Smith gets suspended, Schefter "breaks" the news and his report doesn't even mesh with the official polic report. Schefter and ESPN obvioulsy had some sort of agenda here.

And he refused to press charges. Oh my how the story has changed for Schefter.

I love how Richie is and how he plays. Could care less about how he is perceived by d lineman hes going up against. Eff them.

Schefter owes the Dolphins and especially Incognito a big "my bad"

The concert that Richie and his friends were attending was Ice Cube according to their calendar of who played that day. The visual of Incognito front row at an Ice Cube concert cracks me up. Seems like this is a minimal story, Schefter is usually better then this.
