Ricky and Ronnie

Ricky isn't coming back. You'll see. Come July you won't hear anything about him.

Something to really be proud of.

...and how do you know they are more successful? You have no idea of where I've worked in the past.

BTW, it's "more successful THAN you, not THEN you.

Besides, it's not even about the F***ING pot! Stop spinning the argument.

It's about a star player on his team QUITTING the week before training camp.

English teacher huh? Well that’s respectful enough for me.
Maybe I should email my posts to you first for correction... NOT

As far as spinning the argument. You were the one that spun off to I don’t know where? You brought up the pot. You never did intelligently argue your first post I replied to. I only stated the facts that you sir are unable to address un emotionally. Instead you refer to a un realistic opinion without even looking at the facts (past turn of events) that we all know but you and many others choose to forget.

Your argument of retirement 1 week before training camp is BS! Did it ever occur to you that maybe he was doing the wait and see thing? Or that are whole coaching staff was chaos without a clue? That maybe he had a beating from the yr before, with no change in sight but only a turn for the worst. No instead you choose to forget all those factor’s. and immediately label him a looser. Well maybe you should look at your self in the mirror!

By the way since you did start the personal attacks. How does it feel to get burned by a rookie with 18 post.

Like those apples?

riiiggghhhtttt....being a college teacher is the definition of success...what a shocker...college teachers smoking pot...whoda guessed that:shakeno:

Ok, there is really no reason this thread should be a conversation about whether or not you can be a successful pothead. There are people who regularly smoke weed and are successful individuals, despite what the ex-cop on disability told you in middle school.

You cannot be a successful pothead in the NFL.

Again, you are basing this on absolutely NOTHING. Again, why not? Do you have any more reasons that havent already been shot down?

There is a difference between what you want to happen, and what may happen. Learn to recouncil these differences and you should be pretty ok.

Why not? Ricky Williams was, until he decided he didnt care anymore and stopped using his masking agent. Look at the NBA. Look at Warren Sapp. Look at Randy Moss. There are plenty of people who have done it in the past, and likely continue to do so.

I'm basing it off of nothing more than you have. You ricky huggers need to give it up. HE DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY THE GAME! Geez, I don't see why that is so hard to understand.

It has less to do with being a teacher and more to do with being highly successful leaders in their scientific fields. Not sure what you do for a living, but somehow I don't think it adds up to what their doing: contributing valuable scientific information to the community while at the same time training young minds to think. College professors are some of the more undervalued people in our society.

Well let's see here. Because of DRUG TESTING??? His masking agent won't work. The NFL will be 10x tougher on his drug testing if he would return. You have no proof that the NBA players, Sapp or Moss smoke pot on a daily basis. You're just assuming.

I'm done arguing about ricky. I can't believe people waste their time defending this loser.

Wait a minute.. Who is the one with actual facts and reasoning here? I'm basing it off of what Nick Saban has said. You're basing it off of what you want.

How do you know Ricky doesnt want to play the game? What leads you to believe this? The rumors that he wants to play again? The fact that he talked to Nick Saban in a conversation in which the idea was obviously broached? That Jim Brown, a guy who Ricky is friends with and values his opinion has said that he thinks it will happen?

Get a grip, man.

Just think what a wonderful problem Saban would have: "Should I start Ricky Williams or Ronnie Brown?"

It's a very good point. Emphasize "until he decided he didn't care anymore". That's the difference between someone who smokes pot to have fun and a "pothead" who lets it be the center of his life. The latter stops caring about the consequences. That's why these stupid NBA players get caught smoking in their cars on the side of the highway. I'm digressing from my ex-favorite NBA team, Portland Jailblazers. SOme of them were like Ricky.
