It seems to me the issue with Ray has to do with the teams faith in Sage. Ray can't come in as the number one guy and won't be the three, so he is really a two. If we keep Sage, than we don't need a two.
I wouldn't mind Brunell/Ray/rookie. The bad thing is that none was with us last year. Then again, how far did that get us last year?Some people are afraid to make a change but what do we have to lose? Sfter all, we haven't won in 31 years!!!

The most important thing is he'd be very cheap.
Players coming for the CFL just want to be in the NFL and prove themselves and then get the big bucks. They only make about 50,000 a year in the CFL last time I checked.
I really hope he looks good in tryouts cause he played so well in the CFL.
