Rishard Matthews trade speculation.

I don't see Cleveland as trading partners for a while after we hoodwinked them with Bess. And I think it was Farmer that Ross called him by the wrong name during the interviews. That relationship is probably still too sour right now.

Carolinas in the same wr boat as Cleveland...I don't know how you just come out with what they have...Benjamin has showed well especially with all the hands off rules he better hope they don't loosen up on with Dbs but they got corpses in cotchery and avant as the 2 and 3 options...good luck cam newton

Carolina is stupid. They've been needing to upgrade their WR corp for at least 5 years. All they had was Steve Smith at WR for about a decade...they at least made the trade with Chicago for Greg Olsen but that wasn't enough.

Do they have depth anywhere that would make sense to trade for? I know I wouldn't trade anybody for picks right now if I'm Hickey/Philbin, they need all the help they can get for this extremely important season even if our 6th WR turns out to be superfluous. And a draft voucher may just get cashed in by the next GM.

Yeah they got Olsen and teams are gonna sit on him til Benjamin proves he's legit...looks too raw still for me to think it will happen this year if they let DBS get physical

I'd trade to Carolina for picks. They look to be fighting it out with Tampa Bay for last place in that division.

I think they got a raw talent tight end named Brandon Williams that is interesting but we'd have to wait on it if it ever did really develop

Carolina also has lb aj Klein he'd be someone that would interest me...2 down pretty good instincts mike potential...but struggles in coverage and too much space

Neither Hartline or Matthews should be starting at either wideout position, so there. Both are overrated by the fanbase.

Still, Sammy Watkins was damn good.

If I were Ray Farmer and I knew Josh Gordon was about to be gone for a year, and that he was my only good wide receiver? I take Sammy Watkins in a damn heartbeat, it ain't even a contest in my mind. You don't know what's going to be available with that first round pick next year, but you do know what's available right there.

if you don't know, I know you don't watch the games. He bobbled a pass against Carolina last year that
got intercepted. He can't block. Rizzi was on him about the blocked punt against Dallas. His routes are not diciplined. He drops passes.
How is he not inconsistent?

he can't block??? really? lol, he's one of our BEST blockers that why he plays ST. And he is definitely our best blocking wide receiver. He will straight up plow somebody over with a clean hit. Sure he made a mistake in the dallas game, big deal, there was a penalty on the play and we got a 1st down. Funny how thats the only instance you could come up with about his "poor blocking," some fans just love to hate.

Yes sir, hell even Mike Evans
